Do we know if Sauli made the trip? It would be a shame if he was not able to; of course I'm projecting my own desire to see SA onto him! But what an opportunity.

TWOP is/was a news only and nothing else site. You really were not supposed to have discussions and the fights and fan baiting continually closed threads, sometimes for weeks. The mods closed down Adam's first thread and then when they finally started the second refuse to ever hook it up to the old one and they wouldn't rename it either. (At the end of each season the members voted and they renamed threads) Anyway if you follow the link make sure you find both threads. I think I put in a link to the original in the second thread somewhere not too far in so you can find it there too. TWOP was my home before I found most of you at Planet Fierce. Well shoot, I can't find the link to the original either. Catz, do you have the link to share? ETA , never mind. I searched for my name to find it hee. Jablea Thanks bb for supplying some TWoP info for any newbies, which I sadly neglected to do [img src="![]() i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/Other%20Smileys/icon_redface.gif"][/IMG] I posted there for a while until the stupidity and bias of the mods got too much and I went looking elsewhere and ended up on Planet Fierce, which, through twists and turns, eventually segued into Atop thanks to Q3. Correct me if I'm wrong - I'm just trying to provide a 'history lesson' here for those that came after - but my understanding is that the fan boards PF (Planet Fierce) was born from the over modding at MJ's and AWoP (Adam Without Pity) was born from the over modding at TWoP (Television Without Pity). In hindsight this was a good thang, because they both became Adamcentric fan boards, without all the shit from trolls and haters to wade through. OMFG! jablea that was you he replied to. I never realised that *whoots and high fives ya*yeah, we could never confirm that it was actually him but all the answers were confirmed by Adam in other interviews. I think he replied to a couple of people that one night so I might not have been the first, but then nobody heard from him again until he got comfortable with Twitter. I think you are right about the AWOP board being born from those who got modded to often at TWOP but I never learned about it till a long time later. Talk about modding issues. A couple pages at the start of the 2nd thread at TWOP is all about not being allowed to post Adam's tweets because they were not "news worthy". A bit short-sighted that mod was. |
