Not really sure who this is, his/her bio didn't show much, but he/she will be at both concerts. Instead of doing something useful at 4.30 am, like, idk, sleep, I'm having a little insomniac freak out. Why are his boots covered in dirt? And those rips on his pants don't look like fashion rips to me. Not even the GB saying Hi on this pic was enough to calm me down. Okay, maybe a little. adam-pictures.com/albums/9/grocery%20shopping/07.jpgGood observations! When I was on the plane with him, the bottom of those boots were very clean and white. I wonder if he likes them so much he has 2 pair? |

I can remember seeing this post back then and being amazed at Adam's musical knowledge.

range, but because the scale that is the foundation of the arrangement
isn't natural to a Western singer's ear. It's eerie to me the ease
with which Adam sings ROF using this scale. Especially on the studio
version, you can hear Adam's pitch-perfect control as he moves from
one odd interval to another, in some places even using some typically
mid-Eastern trills, perfectly touching every single note. His key
change is mind-boggling to me; compounding the use of the Phrygian
Diatonic scale with sliding up into an unnatural interval and
immediately transitioning into another key using the same scale.
I have no doubt whatsoever that RKPS completely missed what they were
witnessing because not a one of them had a clue as to what he had
really accomplished with this song.
I've said this before, but with Adam, forget about the drama, forget
about the nail polish and guyliner, forget about the emo hair and
clothes, even forget about the one in a hundred thousand vocal range.
This man has a very rare, phenomenal gift for musicality without which
he could not possibly arrange and sing these uber difficult pieces --
and make it sound natural and effortless. It boggles my mind.
