I go all "squishy" and "warm n' fuzzy"when I compare these two photos and think about how the three of them then, on that night, in their WILDEST freaking imaginations could never have conceived of being in the position they are in in the second photo.
A full on, SOLD OUT, arena concert with their friend, who is now an international super stah, happening in South Africa of all places.
It must seem so surreal for all of them.

 And you know why? Because tonight Adam probably made what it would take sales of 2 million singles to make!  so true but when his next cd comes out and radio does not spin any of his singles, then how the hell will he pick up new fans and continue success. and I want more music ..... I do not want to start a radio discussion but want to respond to this post. The number one media for music discovery is now online, not radio. Adam will do fine with or without radio. And the majority of successful recording artists get little or no radio airplay -- even in the US. Adam will do fine and he will put out new music. ** What I want is for him to tour the US sooooooon!!! |

OK, it's about 785 miles/1260-1400km from Capetown to Joburg... Apparently about 16 hrs driving time. I wonder how they're gonna get there... Bus, maybe?  THEY'RE GONNA SEE SO MUCH OF THE COUNTRY!!!  |

What he did coming down that 'fame' scale is horrendously difficult....unbelievable!!!! jaw is on the ground..... Descending scale over two octaves  Bowie himself hits some pretty sick low notes when he does it! @ 3:09 |
