Just have to say, his vocals just keep getting even better and better. The range gets even wider, and even greater vocal controls. I feel he is doing all of them even more effortless. God... just an unbelievable and one in a zillion talent.
btw, really liked this version of Strut.

I was hoping for like a little acoustic part with WWFM leading into Nirvana or Map or something, or Is This Love leading into By The Rules, something like that ;D Dunno if we'll ever get Runnin' live... he doesn't seem to have much luck with his lower register live :( I want to hear that falsetto or head voice or the blend in Nirvana LIVE!!! But I just highly doubt it. For what I could remember, he never did his bonus track songs in any live preformances. This time he might do Runnin cuz it's really well liked. In GNT he did 2 of his FYE bonus songs - Voodoo & Down The Rabbit Hole. So there is hope of Trespassing bonus songs for the real tour. Maybe he is saving them for then. |

Yeah and it's funny because I remember a lot of people saying in the past that Adam really needs to do more covers in his shows because, as you said, people love covers, and they'll get attention on youtube etc, etc, etc... Sometimes I feel he can't win because he'll never do exactly what fans want and expect. I'm just glad he does what he wants to do. That's good enough for me. I guess I'm easy. , I sometimes wonder what the world would be like if instead of saying good/bad (or yesyesyes) people said "yes, and..." and "what if."  The whole thing in creativity is to keep trying on ideas to see where they take you.Then ideas build upon ideas. That each show/album/song is this: not this: I love your use of images junie! They convey so much meaning and as the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. Yesterday, I was struck by the reactions of those at the concert and how they were LIVING it and LOVING it and EXPERIENCING it in its totality. I only saw Adam once live during GNT but the experience lives inside me. I guess I always get a little sad when, as is natural, the videos come in and the concert is broken down into pieces, parsed and picked over. Then the "flaws" are analyzed and discussed and discussed and discussed. I'm not saying that it's wrong or shouldn't be done. I know a lot of people love this type of analysis and it probably helps them appreciate it all the more. But it still makes me sad. Probably because it's been too damn long since I've had the experience and I so want to feel that joy again of being at a live Adam performance and just taking it all in. I've already warned told the family to be prepared. I'm going to see Adam in concert in 2013 and if that means traveling afar, so be it! :D |
