One of them. His sister is same color but has no tail. I knew it's a boy! He's the cutest thing ever  And I'm sure his sister is perfect even without the tail Orange guys are the best! They have so much personailty and this one looks like a pistol :D |

I'm always amazed of the depth of music knowledge that some of our posters, have. I think Cassie, in particular is very generous to share her expertise with us and I don't know of anyone who thinks she should stop posting about Adam, his voice and critiquing performances on a technical level. It's a great resource here at Atop and is one of things that makes this place special. The problem, if that's what it is, comes during a night like the Cape Town show, when the excitement level is so high and we're seeing amazing tweets from people at the show, new outfits, new songs, etc... but then as the videos trickle in you, after a brief initial flail, the posts start to point out the flaws "...oh, he was flat here, here and here" "the VJJ's are too loud. They need to go" etc... and it kind of takes the wind out of the sails for some of us. I am not saying it's wrong to posts those things, I'm just saying trying to explain why there is sometimes conflict over it. I get the feeling that many of us process things differently. Some like to look at each component of the show and analyze and discuss right away. I think these are detail people who enjoy delving in like that. Others, and I fall into this group, like to look at the whole thing before we make a call and, I admit, probably miss some of the small details, good and bad, along the way. No style is wrong but I think they can be at odds sometimes. kathleen, I think you really hit the nail on the head! For me, it really takes the wind out of the sails of the flailing. Quite frankly, if I had to analyze every note of artists' concerts I went to, I would have to stop going. It would completely ruin them for me. There was a brief discussion about You Tube quality on twitter yesterday and one person, who creates many many DLs for fans, said when you upload a video to You Tube the audio quality is lowered. That's why she looks for raw video from which to make DLs. So judging the sound of a live concert on You Tube (and one in which fans are "singing along") is iffy at best. Anyway - I loved every single video and ESPECIALLY Shady because that jazzy, funky, scatty singing sinks into my soul. I won't say more about that because I posted at the end of yesterday's thread (although it was this morning!). Since my local CHR station stopped playing Adam I have not heard any of his songs here for months. But the other day I was at our huge upscale outdoor mall and I stopped in my tracks as NCOE started playing through the entire area! NCOE, which never made it to radio here at all! Then today I was there also (don't judge) and I heard IIHY! Now I know it's not his new stuff - but TWO days running? I was a Happy Camper![/size][/font] |

I just don't get why it takes the wind out of anyone's sails, it's not like anyone needs the techies' permission to flail the bejesus out of a thread if that's how they're feeling. Everyone should post what they want (within the rules :-[) and "fuq da police" 8-) my 2 cents: some peeps are sensitive, some are overprotective of AFL, there are analytical types that love to critique, analyse, over-analyse, there are those so happy to just be here that all they want to do is FLAIL, there are those that think Adam can do no wrong, lots of different types and styles. It's all good, whatever floats your boat, I say. Let's just all get along and enjoy the FIERCE BITCH AFL. Adding my 2 cents... I think some fans want to revel in the beauty and wonderment of Adam's shows and singing, and others want to discuss all the flaws they saw and heard. I think somehow it must balance out in the end cause we all still love the MAN so much. :wub: I just scroll real fast through the criticisms of his singing because I never hear the flaws anyway - tone-deaf or something I guess. 8-) |

My lovely Sasha was an orange tabby/siamese/mix and was a true character. He had enough personality for 4 cats. Just like Adam has enough personality for about 4 people! Yay--can't wait for the press conference tomorrow (tonight our time?). |

Yes but the thing is the guy this article quoted about Adam having shots, tweeted to Adam saying sorry that he missed him! So how can they quote HIM about the shots Adam had? That's why I am saying don't really trust what this article is saying |
