[/IMG] I really agree that Adam is a talented natural dancer as long as his interpretation of feeling and music can be included. He has it all, rythm, moves, strenth, flexibility and that vibe. So great. But IMHO, at the same time, to put it nicely, he is not good in doing strict coreography and moves where his freedom to express has been taken away. It becomes somewhat awkward and he also seems to be uncomfortable.* ducking* *hides*
I know what you mean. let's just say Adam is definitely at his best when he's free from any confines. awwwwww......this touched my heart. I remember to this day when I found out Santa Claus wasn't real....of course, it did explain why he had the same exact handwriting as my Mother. Ha, ha!! I think that is the way everyone finds out!! My teacher was the one who told me there was no Santa :-/ Totally bummed me out. Was so traumatic that Santa brought presents here until my baby turned 30. ;D I guess I am one who just likes the magic which is probably why I don't care to analyze Adam but just enjoy the performance and the joy I get EVERY SINGLE TIME ETA And for those of you who get a kick out of it, carry on, I've become a professional scroller

WTF??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is awful! I taught 3rd grade for a while and that is the age most kids seem to start to figure it out. I always had a stock answer. It was, "I believe!" I would not have ever dreamed of telling a child in my class there is no Santa Claus!!

Regarding posts about Adam's performances: I compared what we do here with how football is covered on TV and discussed by fans. If you are interested, the post is here: adamtopia.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=daily&thread=1205&page=9#332044Having realized that my analysis of performances was "harshing the mellow" of some of the members, I have stopped commenting on performances in the daily thread except for an overall or OMG! or general squeeing. I post my specific comments and thoughts over in the masterclass thread, where the culture includes detailed analysis and questions. I don't feel like I am being censored on the daily thread, or forced to post elsewhere. The comments just work better in the masterclass thread, just like comments on numbers work best in the numbers thread, and personal posts go in the member thread. No biggie. If you are interested, we are discussing why the difference in sound perception between attending a live concert and seeing it recorded, harmonics and how they color the sound of a voice or instrument, solfege, and the descending scale in "Fame." Feel free to lurk or join in. adamtopia.com/index.cgi?board=vocal&action=display&thread=28&page=49

My thoughts on critiquing Adam's performances. I love the input of so many knowledgeable Atoppers, but I think it is really unfair to comment on things like the VJJ's being too loud, the sound mix is off, etc. based on a youtube video. When I first watched the videos from Cape Town I heard the things that people were critical of, but when better quality videos came out, many of things that didn't sound right at first, were not there at all. This is what I wonder how it's fair to judge from youtubes. I think more along the lines of JazzRocks, Mys*&@^#r, Kathleen and Rama. I remember earlier this summer someone said to scroll if you like to think Adam is perfect. I couldn't comment then but I just wanted to say it's not because I have to think he's perfect. I know he's not perfect. Nobody is perfect. I just don't care about analyzing. I just enjoy the hell out of him and have a big smile on my face. But I know everyone here enjoys him, it's just people enjoy different things. I've learned to scroll. I think there are a lot of smart and funny people here and I appreciate everything everyone does.

I have a question. I downloaded the mp3 folder for the CapeTown Concert that our new member Norbik so generously posted for us and it went to my iTunes folder but it wasn't added to my listed music so I could make a play list. Since it says it's a zip folder is there something I need to do to get the songs over into my music library so I can make a playlist for it? I am so tech challenged but I see it sitting in the Not Added file and I don't know how to move over! Thanks for any help. :-/

So much goodies from SA, 1000 mercis to everyone!!! And Sauli's news too , thanks Zinnia. gelly- those blue pants are...er, awesome on him Yesterday, butterknife has said:"Speaking of dancing...I actually think Adam is a VERY VERY good casual dancer. His moves are PRECISELY TO THE BEATS WITH POWER AND SEXINESS." I totally agree with that, in the SA vids, he stands out as a dancer with Terrence and the other guy, Johnny(?). May I add, just watch his Wilkes-Barre Kickin in moves at 2:40-3:00. My favorite songperformance of the show www.youtube.com/watch?v=oipu3xhWWioWe do have this type of dance, it's called Kilalaka. Whenever the dj plays this song at party, only very few could perfectly dance it because it requires extra skills, strong muscles and endurance. Look at how this singer dance (watch only from 0:49 to 1:20, the rest might be not everyone's cup of tea) www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtbBWOUSf2c&feature=related Can you see how Adam swing it with the same ease and suppleness but with much more sexiness? Adam F lambert, you have my renewed admiration! I watched that dance video. I really liked it. Thanks. I pay attention to Adam's dance moves b/c I myself love to do freestyle dancing (not too good though ). I can feel the good spirit in Adam's freestyle dancing and he is really good at it even though he is not professional. But I really
