GuangZhou-that is where my great grandparents came from. Remember pics of my great grandpa with his pigtail and smoking from a water pipe. Such a beautiful place! FloridaBerts, looks like you guys are having so much fun and getting together regularly. I wish I could say for sure when the next ATL soirée is going to be. It has been hectic for me lately and will become more so until spring (sitting at the airport again for my 8 am flight). We are finally launching the product I have devoted my life the last 7 years. First will be Germany, then the UK, France, Spain, Austria, Portugal, Italy and Spain. Next wave will be the Nordic countries (yay Finland!), Benelux, Poland. Hopefully US too! This product helps people who are going blind from Diabetes regain their vision or help prevent further vision loss. How is this Adam related? Can you imagine being able to see Adam again for those who are suffering from this terrible disease? I just couldn't resist coming out of lurkdom for a moment to say how excited I am for you, Mayumi. I know how much of your life and your heart you have devoted to this. You are an amazing lady and I am thankful every day for your devotion to preserving the sight of others. I am also thankful to you for introducing me to Atop and all the friends I have made because of Adam and you. Carry on with the cause (your work... and Adam!) and we will be ready when you are for an Atlanta fling. Love you!  Yay, for the Floridaberts who had an Adam day! Just got home from our Florida get together. There were 11 of us - not all from Atop but some may be joining soon! We had a great time. We watched the London III DVD (from Vistadiva) on a huge flat screen TV and the quality was amazing. Some of our non ATOP friends really want to buy that DVD so hopefully that will be another round offered when the London I and II become available. We had some technical trouble so we couldn't watch Cape Town. Instead we went down memory lane and watched the whole Idol Journey. It was great watching with the whole group. Most of us knew every word the judges said on each round! Nah! We're not obsessed! We are going to get together Dec 16th on the East Coast to have a pot luck and watch the Divas together. Then, in the New Year, we will combine the groups again for a get together on the weekend before Adam's birthday and celebrate that. Many of us are hoping Mayumi hosts another soiree as well. It's really fun to have a group close to home!! Atoppers in attendance were glamtealady, lagniappe, mangokat, rihannsu, smargie75, TerriJo and theosgma Our other South Florida friends attending: Ruth from Lambrits, Tammy, Joyce (who manages an amazing Elvis impersonator) and Linnie

Hi, everyone! I was reading yesterday's thread and everything you said about Adam's height. I'm a very short girl, just 5,2. WHEN (not if ;D) I meet Adam, even though I already know he's tall, I'm still going to be surprised. To me, he's going to be like a giant or something.
