IS_Tutka American Idol live show was AMAZING!!!!!!! Stay tuned for Tutka Roadshow! Good Morning  ! Roadshow will be aired tomorrow morning - well, the European morning I mean LOL. There will be now the Hollywood Boulevard thing & Anaheim NHL game w/Teemu & co, don't know what else. Katri tells in her newest blog that they were dancing and singing in the AI audience with other people, the show was awesome (at least compared to the Finnish Idol...) They will air that Roadshow next week after/around same time it is shown in Finland. They have lots to tell, of the show and Steven Tyler & Jennifer Lopez. The newest blog is not yet translated - but will be at Riinukka's site later today. There is a short vid clip from yesterday, a teaser for tomorrow - Katri interviewing Teemu Selänne (ice hockey player, Anaheim Ducks), also a couple of short blog writings by Katri. I am an Amazon addict. I do most of my shopping online, and much of it thru Amazon. Recently I went to buy some headphones, but couldn't see how to get to that product thru the link from Adamtopia. Is it limited to just music? Or can we use it to buy anything? The new link takes you to the music but then navigate as usual. I understand that it won't count if what you buy is already in your cart. I think you can buy anything you want. |

Is it limited to just music? Or can we use it to buy anything? Cassie - I administered a Amazon setup like this for our gradeschool PTO, so I can give you some basic info. If you use the link from here, it takes you to an "Amazon Store" type setup. To get to the full Amazon, just click on the Amazon logo in the upper left corner - that will take you to the normal main page. Amazon still knows that you came from ATop, but the screen looks like completely normal Amazon. Anything you put in your cart from this point onward will count. If you already had things in your cart before going through the ATop link, they will NOT count. I have always been a little paranoid about Amazon keeping track as I browse around, so I usually put everything I am thinking of buying into a "Shopping List", then leave Amazon and go through the link to get back there and use my "Shopping List" to put everything I want into my shopping cart and then checkout. This is the extreme version - it should work just fine shopping normally after you go through the link and then checking out. There is NO indication that you came from another site, no reference to ATop anywhere on your screen or on your receipts. However, Q3 has access to an administration page where she can see info about what has been purchased. She does NOT see who bought anything or even who shopped - but she can see a list of every item purchased through the link and how much ATop will receive. The amount varies - most items it is between 4-6% but some are lower (often the case for electronics) and there are occasional "specials" from Amazon where the percentage is higher. My husband and I both purchase stuff for our companies at Amazon - we always went through our PTO link since it didn't cost our company any more than regular Amazon, but all those purchases add up! The banner at the bottom of the page will take you to the Amazon music page but you can go anywhere on Amazon from that banner and it will have the Adamtopia affiliate code associated with it.
I also set up an Amazon store with Adam merchandise but it is really clunky and I like the general site better. That is the like below. |
