Alright lovelies gonna be MIA for a bit... Gonna take a break from the net and focus on what's going on around me and my life right now <3 later alligaydor!!! Love u all!! <3 Is this a good sign she made it onto SYTYCD? I don't know their rules for contestants and social networking. Looks very promising. I think the contestants that make it to a certain point have to stay off the net.

Interview with Ryan Tedder, some great mentions of Adam here: www.hollywoodreporter.com/idol-worship/ryan-tedder-working-adam-lambert-175712THR: You recently worked with several Idol alums including Adam Lambert, with whom you’ve written two songs. In terms of the progress of his new album, where do you think he’s at musically? Tedder: I think he's a rocker. He can definitely pull off a dance song, but after working with him, I really think he’s a rock dude and one of the greatest male vocalists around, for sure. The first album was trying every musical style under the sun, but I believe his naturally proclivity is rock and I think that's the direction he's going to go. No matter what, I think Adam’s a star.

After reading this yesterday, it got me to wondering.... How usual/unusual is it for a song to be a hit in both Pop and Rock? If all of his songs are rock(ish), will it make it more difficult for him to have a Top 10 hit?

The only "rock" stations I know all play old classic stuff and NOTHING new at all. Just keep in mind that just 'cause Tedder thinks AFL should be singing and rock and his two songs lean that way, doesn't mean they will even make the album or that anything else will have that vibe. For that matter, what does Tedder even consider to be "rock" - does he think his songs for New Repulbic are rock?

Maybe it's something I have to do with Adblock? Q3 comment: Adblock will block.

True "rock" songs, like Marilyn Manson, Korn, et al isn't the type of music Adam will be making and those artists rarely if ever get played on Pop radio. Adam will be making pop/rock which fits right into the format to get a top 10 hit with the right song/label push/audience acceptance. Nickleback gets both Rock and Pop airplay. Daughtry doesn't. Weird when you think they sound just alike but Rock radio really looks down on idol it seems which explains the disparity. in my area there is an alt rock station 97x and they play MCR, Three Days Grace, Paramore, etc.
