Yesterday in the Latest News thread, I discussed my realization/fascination with the symmetry of Adam's face and how studies have shown that symmetry is one of many determinants of attraction. Here is a quick article that came up when I began my research if you wish to read more.

When I saw the Japanese InRock photo it struck me not only how beautiful Adam is but also the symmetry of his facial features. I even did the whole covering up one side then the other. Interesting but went about my daily business without thinking too much about it... then WHAM the beautiful Adam photo and the symmetry idea hit me.

Anyway after some very quick primitive photo manipulation, I duly noted my observation. I was gently chided for being shallow (guilty as charged) and responded thusly:

Q3 and MamaDeb - You will get no argument from me that he is beautiful for all the reasons you mention; physical, mental, spiritual, and vocal. But it never ceases to amaze me the many ways he fulfills each of our perceptions of beauty.

For me, right now, I am in awe of his symmetry. I will let you know if I come to any cosmic conclusions, however I do not expect to be disappointed. You might say that I am looking at a tree very closely because the I am lost in the resplendent forest.

Never one to let anything drop and just so damned fascinated with that tree, I took up mys*&@^#r50's request to create images of Adam using two right sides and two left sides. Thank you mys*&@^#r50 for challenging me because I have learned some valuable new skills (MS Paint is a lot more complex and functional than I thought) and got to spend a few enjoyable hours looking at Adam's face with a purpose other than drooling. Oh and LethallyFloral, I tried to find another candidate for my studies but the InRock photo was full face and at rest which made it a perfect image to manipulate. If you have another I would be happy to try it and use my newly acquired skill set.

I thought this might be the best thread for this fun little exercise in Adamania and so (drum roll) .... without further ado, here is the result:

So what do you think, other than he should not part his hair in the middle?

ETA: I took all the extra white space out of the image file on my laptop but cannot seem to get rid of it here. Just something new to learn I suppose.

ETA: Pay dirt!!! Just wanted to keep everyone updated on my learning journey. I'm MASTERING THE PRETTY -does happy dance. WOW, way too big.
