thanks for all the birthday greetings today, must admit to feeling my years today ,well hungover. ahh the drunken ramblings last night ,hope "ACHMED " didnt offend anyone. Alex thats def one of my fav photos, was seriously contemplating Moscow and st petersburg (if confirmed) but DD has bought me tickets ...... for CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL,,,,(uk,s biggest national hunt meeting) dates clash so moscows out ,but finland might be possible, right now off to bed ,had to work today feeling ruff memba dat taim u vent ån uh drunken rent bru? ;D Vrei sa pleci dar nu-mã nu-mã ieiiii |

That Rihanna live was just a coincidence as well as her ticket sales for Finland that began today. I catched the stream when the concert was almost at the end but watched the rebroadcast. I thought it would serve well as a comparison to Adam's SA show.
Her set that was broadcasted was abt 75 mins, she did stand still most of the time, no costume change, no dancers, no choreo of any kind and the show was mainly in the lights and smoke - and in music and in singing of course. Adam's show is definitely more theatrical as a whole and less clinical on his part. Being less familiar with Rihanna's music and an Adam-biased observer I got the impression that Adam does more in performing and in taking contact with the audience. There is less technical stuff and more human touch - and for me, more emotion.
To each his/her own style and naturally much depends on listener's tastes. However, I'm even more convinced than before that Adam puts on a hell of a show which is in par with the big names - if not better. Maybe later we get an Adam concert live with this kind of quality stream, that would be awesome.

I FIGURED IT OUT!!!!!!! For real! They did more than one take of that part of the video. One time he said, "Sorry, bout that." Hence the closed lips that look like they are making a "b" sound. He was supposed to say "Sorry one second." So, when they did the sound, for that part of the video, they used "Sorry one second" audio, but the video portion they used is with him saying "Sorry bout that." I AM SERIOUS!!! I agree that he is saying "Sorry one sec " |
