Yeah it's all backing tracks. It's weird to hear WWFM in the original key in fact, he did it in the original key on the Voice China too but until then he hadn't since like early 2010. Oh, that's interesting. I never keep track of keys and don't usually notice if a song seems a step higher or lower. So--do you have perfect pitch? I can't help but notice :-[ It's not quite perfect pitch but it's good. |

Just a drive by in between appts. The dry feed directly from the mic to the broadcast would not sound the same as the dry feed into a hall where it bounces off walls, floors, cars, etc. So, it might have sounded richer and fuller to the audience there than the audience watching on the TV. But, IMO, Adam's voice sounds great with a dry feed, or with no mic. (Haven't had time to watch these yet, tho.)
So, if I am reading this right, Adam just did an extended advertisement for Mercedes Benz by singing three songs among the featured cars. For this he got paid big bucks. I'm okay with that.

IMO, Adam's voice sounds great with a dry feed, or with no mic. I actually love how he sounds with no mic. IMO, he sounds better with no mic than with a dry mic. It's embarrassing how many times I've watched the couple of Youtube videos where he's singing completely acoustic.  I stop the video, then I play again the part I just watched, I flail a little, then I keep going. I can spend hours listening to his acoustic singing. :redface: |

What a treat this morning! Wow HUGE stage! He must feel a bit disconnect with the audience & his band. He did a great job & looked gorgeous! ..& oh boy.. Brian L was very vocal! he too was trying to get the audience excited. tough crowd!

Just when I needed Adam to be early for once...he WAS!!! ...think he did a fantastic job against terrible odds. Love his voice front and centre like that. Why was he singing in a factory? Is this the only place Mercedes could afford? However much they paid him, he earned every penny out there today.
That's because he was NOT singing in a factory. It took place on a makeshit outdoor stage at a place called "Tower Square", which you could clearly see the tower in one of the vids.
This is NOT a performance event like award show, music festival or concert, but a private corporate gig which artists do it because of $$$$.
And, @alidol and her "comrades" did a fantastic job in such a short notice organizing local Glamberts to be present and making a live stream viewing possible for the rest of us. Thank you, 朵朵!!!  |
