Wouldn't it be funny if he only toured internationally and not in the US? I've always felt he'd do better internationally then here at home...from the very beginning. Sorry, not funny  |

Just when I needed Adam to be early for once...he WAS!!! ...think he did a fantastic job against terrible odds. Love his voice front and centre like that. Why was he singing in a factory? Is this the only place Mercedes could afford? However much they paid him, he earned every penny out there today.
That's because he was NOT singing in a factory. It took place on a makeshit outdoor stage at a place called "Tower Square", which you could clearly see the tower in one of the vids.
This is NOT a performance event like award show, music festival or concert, but a private corporate gig which artists do it because of $$$$.
And, @alidol and her "comrades" did a fantastic job in such a short notice organizing local Glamberts to be present and making a live stream viewing possible for the rest of us. Thank you, 朵朵!!! I agree with you completely, Maddie. Hell, I'm still suffering from the lack of Joburg vids... I don't remember we ever got info and vids and pics this fast... and all that from a country where you have to pay to get twitter and youtube service, if I understood that correctly. @glam_alidol does a wonderful job! She's what I call a hands-on, proactive Glambert... as opposed to my mouseclicky, swivel-chair swirly, passive self, for example. I'll never stop being grateful for those who provide me w/ Adam stuff... PS - There's no way Adam won't do a US tour, I think... PSS - Ikea? [snorts] I demand High Baroque Louis XIV.... |

I have also bee waiting for a pic with Adam and Mika together talking to each other in Finnish (Adam can at least swear in Finnish). But in fact I think that Mika doesn't perhaps even know who Sauli is, because he has been living in France and Monaco so many years. ;D I think you are quite right. I don't think Mika would know Sauli or about Sauli, but there is a connection which would give them something to talk about. I guess Adam would have no difficulties in understanding the accent. My point in waiting for the pic was connected to my earlier post mentioning Mika Häkkinen in MB ads and finding out today that Mika was actually at the same event. Funny coincidence and more like 'they could do a Mercedes commercial together' type of daydreaming thing...  |

Teddybear, this has been my biggest fear, that Adam would be an international star minus the United States. I saw him in Denver during GNT and I want to see him again. My husband and I have agreed that we would travel as far as Denver (maybe a little further now that I have a sister in Kansas) or San Francisco (about a 700 mile radius). We near in Salt Lake City, Utah. At this time in our lives, I don't think we could afford an international location. But it would be fun to travel to some foreign location, like Sweden, England, Spain or Germany. I would use the opportunity to do some family history research at the same time. Anyhow, back to my point, I hope this doesn't happen. He is from America, we should be able to enjoy him here at home. I bet he would always play dates in New York, LA and some other larger cities. |
