The Vail, CO entertainment page is from last year. The event is an annual event and I think they have not updated the page for 2013 yet. It would be very odd for Adam to do it two years in a row. Link to page: www.aaevents.com/index.php?page=entertainment

Thanks for the encouragement. I haven't watched it in ages. I remember at the time I was soooo disappointed. But, being the vocal geek, I was disappointed with the singing performance. The choreography, set and otherwise, didn't bother me at all. ABC had been promotoing it as a provocative performance all along. It seemed very much in keeping with the evening. I remember being more "offended" by the female singer semi-wrapped in skimpy bandages sprawled on sort of an operating table with people with guns around her.... something like that. Hazy on the details, but I thought it was creepy. And Gaga breaking liquor bottles and setting her piano ablaze I thought was outrageous and stupid. At least Adam's choreography made sense with the lyrics. But, his vocals just weren't up to snuff. Watching it again, I realize that they weren't nearly as bad as I remembered. Yes, he hit a couple of bum notes, but was mostly on pitch. He did hit a couple of incredible high notes. Overall, his vocals were more wobbly and less consistent than Adam's usual level of professionalism, but compared to many other pop singers, they still sounded good. Worst of the performance was that dry feed which amplified every little bobble and, combined with all the movement, made Adam's voice sound less full than it should. Was it a performance I would recommend to people I want to be wowed with his incredible voice? Nope. Was it bad? Nope. Was it deserving of the shitstorm that errupted? Not even close. Still, I am fine with this being included in his body of recorded work, for its impact on his career. I tried couple of times wanting to finish watching it..but... :-/ still couldn't figure out why his vocals were so off that night.. maybe due to nervousness and too much adrenaline plus some stage monitoring issues.. still, I love to see his sexy moves and also amaze by that clever ninja roll In my memory, somehow this song was never sung too good live....until I heard this one The reason he was off could have been all the things you mentioned, but also because of all the choreography while singing.. walking, climbing stairs, etc.. must be hard to do while still trying to sing well.

Sauli seems to be quite the celebrity in Finland. Has he reached the point where just his first name is used in the media? Sometimes This is a website of a national daily tabloid that covers quite a lot of entertainment and celebrity news - and they often have small pieces with pics on Sauli and Adam. For their readers the couple is very well-known. Using the first name only is a good trick to get people to click - also because our president's name is Sauli. They like to surprise in any way they can, here using 'Sauli' headline on Adam's concert news. MTV3 used the same headline about 'Sauli's love' with 'Adam' added. Other coverage headlined mostly with 'Adam Lambert'. So did the other tabloid for which Sauli is doing Tutkas and blogs. They started with son-in-law and in the beginning of the text part used attibutes 'glamrock star', 'AI runner-up' and 'boyfriend to Sauli Koskinen' to characterize AL before telling that he will have a concert date in March. ;D PS The headline must be the reason why the piece didn't come up in my search the other day...

Strongly agrrrrreeee I agree too . And it looks like Adam's record label has noticed that , because they are booking him in performances all over the world . Good that they understood that Adam is not the typical recording singer . He is a Showman . A Performer . The stage is where he belongs . The stage is HIS . I don't believe RCA/Sony has anything to do with a lot of his international gigs. I believe DMG or his management who gets all those gigs for Adam.

«Danke, Adam Lambert!»An Thanksgiving überlegen sich auch die Schweizer in Los Angeles, wofür sie dankbar sind. Beim Schlagzeuger Fabian Egger ist es ein Gig mit dem Glamrocker Adam Lambert. www.bluewin.ch/de/index.php/9,708164/de/tvundfilm/kino Translation of "Thank you, Adam Lambert!": (Original article here: www.bluewin.ch/d tl.gd/k40smt via @wildflowerglam The Swiss drummer Fabian Egger living in Los Angeles doesn't have to think long about it: "I am thankful that I got to perform with Adam Lambert." The selection process was hard. Many of his idols were at the auditions for the gig with Lambert. One after another was sent home. "At the end the drummer of P.Diddy and I were the only ones left", the 22 year old tells. Then they both were sent home too. For one week there was silence. Then Lambert's music director Brian London called: Fabian Egger got the job! Maybe their choice had to do with him being a fan of the Yellowcard drummer, Longineau Parsons who played with Lambert in the past, and having a similar (drum) style as him. Then everything went fast: 15 songs to lern, rehearsals and after a while the Rheintaler (Rheintal = a region in Switzerland) already sat in a plane to Australia with the band. "It was an awesome experience", Egger tells. With his 22 years he is the baby of the band, and to match the lead singer's style, the put eyeliner around the eyes for the performance in Melbourne. Before Egger had to head to Switzerland, to renew his American work visa in the US-embassy, there was still time to shop clothes together. "We are both shopaholics and found nice things - I got t-shirts and bling jewellery." I've wondered what happened to Fabian.. whether he was only meant to play the one gig in Australia, which doesn't sound practical, or...?? I've wondered too. But in Melbourne, he introduced Fab as his new drummer. Maybe he hired Fab for next year, since Fab already has all these commitments for 2012. Who knows :dunno:
