I'm sure the Judge realized that if he found Madonna guilty then Russia would likely begin to have severe trouble booking international acts. Money talks.

I'm here & wondering if all of the US fans are out shopping. Not me!
No Adam news at the moment but I have been highly entertained by seoulmate's wonderful spot-on gifs and chapf's amazing creativity. In lieu of Adam - next best thing!

I'm sure the Judge realized that if he found Madonna guilty then Russia would likely begin to have severe trouble booking international acts. Money talks. I read several articles/ blogs in Russian re this hearing and it seems that the judge was quite sarcastic towards the plaintiffs.. (I actually had tears from laughter reading some of the stuff...)..whether his attitude was caused by economic concerns or he was sane enough to see the ridiculousness of the claim IDK... just look at this and try not to laugh: www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/23/madonna-lawsuit-russia-gay-rights_n_2176566.html...plaintiffs claimed that Madonna's so-called "propaganda of perversion" would negatively affect Russia's birthrate and erode the nation's defense capability by depriving the country of future soldiers. At one point, the judge threatened to expel journalists from the courtroom if they laughed too much

For what it's worth I'm here too....hoping you lot across the pond had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm actually doing my tax return - yawn - and it made me think... One year Adam was widely talked of (Forbes List?) as having earned $6m - has there been a year since ?(if you see what I mean). I know he was doing the album so it wouldn't have been as much, probably, but was there any hint?....I want him to have EVERYTHING. Hope this latest year is looking really good. No, there has not been another Forbes list of Idols since the one that had Adam at #6. I think it was May, 2010. I don't know why because Forbes did one every year for Idols, then stopped :( I always thought that he would be 4 on the May, 2011one due to the 2010 tour and sales. But then much lower on 2012, sicne he was writing in 2011. :dunno:

The suit was ridiculous and this judge was just smart!! ETA: A few comments there with this sentiment: So just what kind of irresponsible parent would let their 12 yr old child goto a Madonna concert in the first place?!?!?? THAT SHOULD BE THE QUESTION THAT THE COURTS ARE INSTEAD ASKING?!?!?!?!
