I love Pink a lot, but her album was not better than Adam's. The only reason she had a hit with Blow Me was because they put her music on the radio immediately because she is an old experienced artist. What they did for Pink, they should have done for Adam. His album is better than Pink's.

Funny, I followed some Kelly stans when her album was first released and other than "Stronger," they were underwhelmed by entire thing, but RCA was able to milk the crap out of that album because radio played. I love Pink too, but it took until I saw a live performance of "Blow Me" before I cared for the song at all. Same with "Try." I still haven't bought the album. Mraz had that dirge song that was out around the same time BTIKM was but since they're openings, I haven't heard much from either Mayer or Mraz. Hmm, just looked, seems as though Mraz only had one single off his album that went to No. 8 and there were other pre-release songs, but not official singles. That's weird. "Trespassing" really is fantastic and ITA, Irish, every time I go back to listen to it after a break, it's like the first time all over. No one can take that away from him. |

His album is better than Pink's. I am a huge P!NK fan and was disappointed in this album. But I expectd it to live up to Funhouse & that may have been a once in a lifetime album. I think Kelly's album is better than P!NK's actually. But I do expect P!NK to get nominated. |

Norah Jones has not had a hit single either and Lana's worldwide sales might be 3K but her US sales are around 300. So she's not making a big impression here. I don't think she's had a hit single either. On an Adam fan board, as an Adam fan, I would have to include Adam's Trespassing as a possibility, a "dark horse" so to speak. I agree and Adam is possible -- but clearly a "dark horse". Regarding my predictions...I looked at voting blocks: Lana Del Rey has a ton of buzz from voters -- she will almost certainly get at least Grammy nomination. Not my fav, just what I expect to happen. [BTW WW sales are 3 million not 3k.] If not Lana, these voters will go for some other internationally popular artist Nora Jones also has some buzz from voters. She is a Grammy favorite with 16 nominations and 9 wins, and has done well in the Pop Vocal categories. If not Nora Jones, these voters will go to some other established MOR vocalist. I just think it will be hard for Adam to gather enough voters to get a nomination with Kelly and P!nk also being nominated. Pop is really competitive. |

His album is better than Pink's. I love P!nk too! This girl surely can sang! And she makes good & in-depth pop music. I am still thankful to her for giving away that WWFM and made a hit single for our boy. Talking about album itself, <Trespassing> is top-notch. I haven't listened to that many other pop albums of 2012. So it would not be credible for me to compare. But, I've listened to <Funhouse>, damn that one was soooo good. <The truth about Love> is also very good , but I don't think it is better than <Funhouse>. My point here is trying to say, <Trespassing> is better than <Funhouse>. ;D And I do think from bottom of heart and instinct that <The Truth About Love> is one of the best pop album out there in this year. So... Quaity-wise, <Trespassing> is on the top3 for me. Maybe I'm biased, but I do trust my music taste though ;D |
