Hi all of you, who have been in many Adam's concerts. I need your advice. Please.
If I buy a VIP-ticket to Adam's concert in Helsinki I will be near the stage, but I have to stand all the time. I don't know how long time I'm able to stand if Adam is much late. :-/ My stupid question:
Do you think that it is possible to sit on the floor while you are waiting? Have you seen people sitting on the floor in other concerts when they've been waiting it to begin?

There was a whole series of these, in Canada in 2010 I think. He looks simultaneously cold, pissed off and stunningly beautiful. I always think of this one as his serial killer look! ;D Don't know how to make it bigger but if you go to the original you can click to enlarge. adam-pictures.com/albums/2/Toronto/Toronto/normal_06.jpg

I'd been rushing around London all day and my legs were not happy

I have been to concerts where you could sit on the floor but only up to about an hour before he goes on stage. As the concert nears, people start pressing toward the stage. I have also been to concerts where there was no way you could sit. If your VIP ticket means that the space in front of the stage is limited and reserved, it might (but only might) be possible to sit. Certainly if there is space sitting is not frowned upon if that is your concern.

I am loving all the pretty today. thanks to everyone for sharing. Let's hear from some of the usual lurkers, too! In between looking at the pretty, butterknife asked a couple of very good questions in the vocal masterclass thread. I couldn't resist going into my "teacher mode" and discussing how Adam shapes his voice and uses his different registers. If that academic stuff interests you, pop on over. adamtopia.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=vocal&thread=28&page=54#336335

perezhilton.com/#readmoreWatch Adam Lambert's Glass-Shattering VH1 Divas Promos HERE!11/25/2012 We may have been MORE than a little bewildered with the line-up this year for VH1's Divas Live concert, which will feature the likes of Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Ciara, Kelly Rowland, and Jordin Sparks paying tribute to the dearly departed Donna Summer and Whitney Houston, but that's apparently because the network has apparently decided only one TRUE diva has to take the stage this year! And that would be the show's host, Adam Lambert! Ch-ch-check out the American Idol alum showing off what his pipes can do in a brand new promo for the event (above)…as well as just a true diva needs to hit those high notes in two more…AFTER THE JUMP!!! (With links to promo videos) Diva to me are singers with big voice, such as Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, Gloria Estevan & Shania Twain, etc. I think over the years the meaning of DIVAs has changed a lot, since we rarely have female singers with voice like the above anymore. Yes we still have Chirstina Aguilera, J Hud, Beyonce, Kelly C and a few more. Off course Adam's voice's fit perfectly in here. This is my favorite Diva show

And I do it to every concert I go cause I wait in line for many hours . When you're waiting standing in line for 10 hours just to be front row , I really don't care to what other people might say. When the concert starts I'm ready to jump!

Have you seen people sitting on the floor in other concerts when they've been waiting it to begin? We sat on the ground waiting for GNT SF2 while still outside. Luckily NoAngel brought some old blankets that we threw away once went in. I managed to do general admission with a herniated disc in my back that day and did it again in Vegas (could barely walk back to my room after that though!). I would not have been above sitting on the floor while waiting, but you're packed in so tight, you really can't. I enjoy GA but do have plenty of pain before and after (my feet hurt SO BAD after Queen + A on 7/11 and I was wearing sneakers) but I still jump right in and do it again. #cray ETA: Everyone sat in line while waiting for the Queen show(s) too. People brought tarps, jackets, etc. to sit on because it was raining.

Thank you all so much for answering my question re sitting before the concert. Maybe I'll try to survive the standing. There is ice under the floor, so the sitting on it is not a very good option either. :dunno:
