Hotels in Hong Kong might be a relative bargain, but at $4,406 a sq foot it has the fourth most expensive real estate in the world and the most expensive apartments at $2,625 a sq. ft. We were speaking of tourism though, and hotel prices. I would guess to live there, would be extremely expensive. We surmise they have separate rooms from things they have said, in the past. And things like photos, like gelly said above. These are adult men in a well paid industry. I would be shocked if they share rooms. It just wouldn't happen! ETA: Non suite price for a room in Adam's hotel is $278 a night. Remember, Adam gets expenses for trips like this. I am sure DMG negotiates enough (for Adam) to make the bands stay pretty reasonable. They probably even get a special rate!  Hotel rates are very negotiable and Hong Kong more than most. City has 5 and 6 star hotels and service is always impeccable. In fact for most westerners it can become cloying. Hong Kong advertises its destination with the most expensive of brochures and airlines flying into Hong Kong vie for the traffic. Rack rates (those advertised) are usually cut by at least 50 percent or more so the cost to give each band member/crew private rooms is not an outrageous cost. I would not doubt that Adam's suite is comped. |

Just thinking outloud. Whenever Adam's traveling with his band, I was wondering if they put all the guys in one hotel room and off course the Boss will get his own suite ;D. It will be too expensive to give them each of their room, and HK is not cheap. If I remembered correctly before Hong Kong going back to China, it's a destination for people to go shopping and is almost as expensive as Paris. They each get their own room. ETA: And I heard just the opposite from friends. That the governmnt subsidizes tourism to get Westerners there and it is not expensive, comparatively speaking. For instance, the hotel Adam is at, would be considered an avg price for LA and probably a good value for NYC or SF! It is bizarre that I even wonder as well whether they continue to share or if the band and crew have their own rooms??? Like I do not have more going on in my life than wondering if they have their own rooms!! There was a time when there was some sharing as we have had pics of Tommy and Issac staying in the same room. Now...maybe life is better for all, monetary wise, and they can get deals and go solo in a room. ;D Last night I checked out the hotel from this tweet yesterday that was in last night's thread.The hotel room Ashley tweeted about was $185.00 US and they also had rooms for 88. US.
