maddie, any idea what KE$HA's final # was?
Haven't seen the final exact SoundScan # for Warrior anywhere today, maybe tomorrow or Friday....
But, I do have some int'l numbers for Warrior:
UK #66 (debut week, 5525 copies sold) out of the chart (2nd week)
Australia #12 (debut week) #32 (2nd week, 2,639 copies sold)
Germany #81 (debut week) out of the chart (2nd week)
Japan Oricon #49 (debut week) #57 (2nd week, 2,571 copies sold) (2 weeks total: 5,537)
New Zealand #30 (debut week) out of the chart (2nd week)
source: UKMIX.org ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ALSO...
Mediabase:
5 - KE$HA Die Young: 124.827(-8.159) (38 million lost in 5 days)
KE$HA C'mon: 8.479 (+1.627)
Before some radio stations started dropping "Die Young" from their rotation in the aftermath of last Friday's school shooting, Kesha's 2nd single "C'mon" had already been ushered in. " 'Die Young' clocked in at #3 on the radio playlists on Friday (the day of the shooting) ... reaching 167 million listeners nationwide, according to Mediabase." In 5 days it has lost 38 million listeners. TMZ wrote: "One music expert tells us ... a drop of this magnitude is extremely rare. The last time a song plummeted this quickly is when the Dixie Chicks were banned from country radio ... after insulting President Bush." Well, "Die Young" is currently sitting at #4 on BB HOT 100, guess we'll find out next week how far down it's gonna slide...?

It's all perspective & relative, isn't it. I would love to see one of Adam's songs drop from #2 on the charts to #4!! She is at #4 this morning on the Pop charts, with AI of 80.8 million. #1 is Bruno with an AI of 119 Million. Her biggest drop, in placement, was HAC. She is sitting at #23 this morning. But of course, since the spins there are not as high as Pop, it is not as dramatic a loss of spins. I actually feel bad for her. I see nothing wrong with her song and I actually like it. Her "Die Young" is a sentiment used in many songs: Live Like We're Dying is a perfect example. The song has nothing to do with dying though!! It has to do with living to your fullest each day! What about the Band Perry song? I know it is old, but that song If I Die Young actually IS about dying young! Never could understand the appeal of that song! :dunno: That being said, I find the big drop of her album on 2nd week, basically around the world, interesting. At the holidays makes it more of a WTF?! Has her shock appeal worn off? It will be interesting to watch to see if her next single helps album sales any.

[/quote] If they are going to pull songs they need to pull Carrie Underwood's "Burn it Down". I heard it a couple of days ago after I heard of Keisha's being pulled. It's very into revenge.

"It's all perspective & relative", indeed!!
Kesha's total 2-week worldwide sales are coming in at 158,000 units, per Media Traffic, minus the US the int'l sales are around 43,000, which is no comparison to the early smashing success of her debut album, Animal.
However, Kesha has proven to be a very successful singles seller in the past, she might not be able to duplicate the same success in album sales as Animal (1.4mil in the US and over 3mil worldwide), but she might still be able to pull off a "Flo Rida" --- Flo Rida's Wild Ones has only sold 170,000 units in the US and 476,000 worldwide, yet spawned 3 top 5 singles on the BB HOT 100 and 1 in the top 10 and the first 3 singles have all landed within the top 20 of BB HOT 100 Year-End Chart, and all of them have had phenomenal worldwide successes as well: Whistle and Wild Ones are at #5 and #9, respectively, in the world's top singles of 2012, and the other 2 singles got over 2 - 3 million points as well.
Yes, interesting to see how it's gonna play out....
Oh, btw, Bruno's Unorthodox Jukebox worldwide debut sales are...522,000!
