Her album had a slow start, but man, did it have legs. Maybe we need to look deeper at the chart for October-December. It was released October 24 and competed (I think) against either Scott McCreery or Evanescence. Kelly's album released the same week as #1 Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto. |

Also, many good albums got #2 due to Adele's chokehold on the #1 spot! And P!NK is not on that list and she was a #1.

In what Universe is Coldplay anything other than ROCK? You guys just pop over to the Billboard site and search artist, then chart history and you see that Mylo Xyloto charted on the Billboard Rock Albums chart so I doubt seriously that RIAA would place that album in the Pop Vocal Album category.

I so agree with you on this...you said it in such a nice way... Hey, we still have the other arm! :-/ Hopefully he won't cover the other arm up with big black tattoos. UGH. :-/ Kelly's album had legs because of radio play and she was on TV every week with that voice talent competition. Always in the public eye. It makes a difference. Adam would have had that exposure with Idol judge. :( |
