I'm back on p. 14, but everyone has been talking about the black, colorless tattoo. The picture of it on this thread is not in color. His skin is not usually gray, ist it? Am I missing looking at a picture everyone else has seen?

Also, I think most people who get tats think it out. There is special meaning to it, not just some random drawing. I'm not a huge fan of tats, but thats just for me. My son had tats on both arms and on one of his calves. The arms are on the underside (because it hurts much more to get them there and don't ask me why that mattered). The bird in oranges and reds represented evil. The blue/green bird represented good. The tats on his leg were to honor his Dad who died when he was a baby. And I figure I won't be around to see what those birds look like when he's an old man so who cares. Won't be around to see Adam's either. My son is a couple of years older than Adam. There will be loads of old folks running around with tats. I got my first (and only) tattoo a couple of years ago after thinking about it for a few years. It is a symbol that is meaningful to me, in a place designed to help balance my body awareness, which is also a place that is most usually covered up unless I'm in a bikini (and no is not as base of my spine). I researched different places and got a recommendation from a friend with amazing tattoos. The whole process was deliberate and I have no regrets. My husband got his first tattoo while drunk on a Texas boys weekend : : |

So, Phillip Phillip's next single is already in a commercial, I just saw/heard it. Is this what happens when you have a smash hit, or is his management/Interscope just that powerful?? Adam had songs on Trespassing that would have worked SO well in commercials, but they just couldn't make it happen (or didn't pursue it).
I'm just a little frustrated. PP is very talented, but he basically "lucked into" a song that connected and took off, and doors are opening all over for him. I am happy for him, but I just wish a few of those doors would start opening for Adam.

Well, I am bummed out about this new huge black tattoo. I was hoping he would stay with a moderate amount of them. I hope he summons the will to call a halt at some point before both arms and shoulders, etc. are totally black with them. And yes, of course it's my business what he does with his body. ;D and while I'm on a critical roll here, I think it's too much message in one tattoo. I fully expect to see a kitchen sink in there somewhere if I look hard enough. |
