I think that may be a fan-made quote. The article does not have that pic, does it? Aaaah - thank you, I think you're right. Maybe she just quoted it. I really would have found it weird if a magazine would just pull pictures out of the internet and publish. Some would call that illegal ;D Okay, that makes sense. I just found it on twitter and thought it's so pretty. Should have known it's made by you.

No news here so you might want to scroll...
Some minor details on a) geography and b) folklore I spent some time on today...
a) There was a hypotethical assumption posted that the Philippines concert date might have been the first of January. Together with this Macao trip it got me to consult a map and web in order to acquaint myself a little bit more with the region.
Bali - Philippines aerial distance is a little more than 2600 km/1600 miles. When he has a late night show in Bali I should think it would not be reasonable to have another in Manila the next day. The more so as the Bali show is New Year's Eve and I got the impression that there might not be direct flights. Even if there were and the flight were some 3-4 hours considering the time spent on the airport and connecting travel time to the cities (especially in Manila) I don't think he would make it, any delay would be a catastrophe.
On the other hand, I assumed this distance to be shorter: Hong Kong - Shanghai distance is about 1220 km / 760 miles, flight time 2.5 hrs, train 25 hrs. I think that he should definitely take a train sometimes instead of flying, although this is a bit long distance. It is a comfortable way of travelling, there is good service in the first class and while spending time with the band et al. he could get a glimpse of the countryside. If only the distance would be shorter this would have been a good time to experience that due to his 'easy' schedule.
b) A Finnish 'Water mother' that someone mentioned yesterday was totally foreign to me and my recollection was that the spirits in the water in our 'folklore' are mostly hostile but that there was a goddess too. It seems that earlier in time the relationship was more amicable with fishermen and spirits inhabiting the water - and the goddess I had in mind was, of course, 'Vellamo' (wife to 'Ahti').
I didn't find the original post anymore but the name used sounded to me like a characterisation of the figure. There could be a line in our national epic 'Kalevala' about
'Vellamo, veen emonen' (playing with the sounds in 'Vellamo, veden emo', using a diminutive and endearing form)
which would mean 'Vellamo, (dear) dam of the water' (where 'emo'=dam for animals in general > queen for bees and mother for humans).
Animalistic and spiritual reference to a figure that is reproducing, giving life, creating something new - with a connection to water. That would go very well with interpreting the tattoo. Now I have to try to brush my knowledge of the Greek god Poseidon that comes to mind with Vellamo having something to do with weather for sailors, waves, winds etc. - maybe explorations, hmmm...
BTW Being not a fan of tattoos in general I do think this is something that it should look like if taken, a beautiful piece of art with details and shades and delicate outlines - open to interpretation. (Sorry, but I actually hope he would not get any new tattos - only for the selfish reason that I would not have to see the pics of people totally covered in tattoos ever again.)

www.gay.net/photo-day/2012/11/28/stare-face-adam-lamberts-trippy-new-tattooSTARE INTO THE FACE OF ADAM LAMBERT'S TRIPPY NEW TATTOOYoung glam rocker Adam Lambert just got a new tattoo and it is pretty glorious.Sharing the tattoo with his fans on Twitter, Glambert said, "New Ink, it represents my Satrological Birth Chart, alomg with Pagan, Buddhist, and Greco-Roman Archetypes related to balance and the life cycle... My chart is AQUARIUS Sun, Libra Rising, Aries Moon. All three are represented." If you look long enough into his blizzard-breathing, ram-horned ice queen of a tattoo, you will see into the future. No really, try it. It is beautiful... and it smells like menthol.
