It's not only the dark goatee vs the red goatee.

It's the way it's shaped at least for me. The ASCAP look had a moustache AND a goatee. The moustache had curves on the side it was not a straight moustache and it didn't look good .

This moustache doesn't end it continues being one with the goatee on the sides and makes an amazing look. I don't know if I described correctly what I wanted to say, I hope you understand.
Anyway for me it's super hot.

The word 'LIKE' can sometimes be difficult.

There are a lot of things that I LIKE about Adam because they are just beautiful, lovable, perfection, adorable, handsome....and so on.

Then there are other things, where the LIKE is there because I have to work a little, go an extra mile, step outside of my usual comfort zone, see things from a different perspective to appreciate them. The LIKE part is not immediate, but rather develops with the effort it takes to get there.
Adam has always understood to take me there, often intentionally on his part, sometimes probably unintentionally.

There are certain lyrics of his, certain crazy over the top performances or outfits, certain videos, and probably this tattoo too, that don't endear themselves immediately, but that grow on me in ways that most things that I see or hear and immediately ignore, never would.

Whether I will ever LIKE this tattoo, I don't know, maybe not. But I DO LIKE the process of learning and the discussion that has sprung from it and Adam clearly entertains me both musically and visually like no other pop artist or in general any other artist ever has.

That he carries his skin to the market for our entertainment is something that I have been aware of and thought about for quite some time now, this tattoo makes that imagery quite immediate and literately so.

So while a tattoo is a personal thing and he clearly must be doing that for himself and obviously he must like what the artist and thinker in him has dreamed up for himself, but by sharing it he also creates something for his fans.

It was interesting to me that of all comments that Adam received on twitter yesterday, the one he responded to was the one asking him to get a tattoo for his fans. He responded referring to the endless-loop, but I think he also responded because in reality Adam wants to communicate in many different ways and he does so very successfully, this twitter-er just was a tad clueless and that tweet probably surprised him. But Adam can be sure that others understand his way of communication quite well and appreciate the artist behind the creations, visual or sonic or intellectual or any way they may come about.
