[/IMG]
WOW!!!. A huge amount of work went into that. Really a special fan video. NICE JOB CHINESE GLAMBERTS!!! So adorable.
I was so impressed with this video I searched for a "hat's off" gif and made myself figure out how to post it. For a wine-soaked burrito that is huge. This video is that good.

I often wonder if it's a generational thing but then I think it might be something else because I'm familiar with many styles of music and cultural references from many many decades before I was born. I think it's really cool that Adam has opened up people to the world of popular music and I hope people are genuinely giving it a chance because that is where Adam wants to be. I too know lots about music from before my generation was young. It's the stuff from my 20's and on that is fuzzy. I find that many young people (late teens to 30s) know an incredible amount about past rock/pop, especially from the 60s and 70s. I often wonder if it's because they find much current music not as interesting and search other decades (especially those of their parents) for enjoyment. Just guessing here. My 29-year-old nephew had almost nothing but classic rock played at his wedding dance. I recently heard a discussion about this in NPR and the suggestion was made that the internet and sites such as youtube have exposed young people to so many different types of music from earlier generations that they do not care so much when it was made, they just care if it is good.

Coming out of the ethers to thank all who have been bringing Asian goodies to Atop! MAMA and Hennessey...Adam prevailed. He didn't look well at the press conference but I figured he needed some rest. To pull off a show like Hennessey which was Schazangy-Shazam Sizzling Hot and not feel well, is a true pro in action. SO much admiration for this man. Now Adam needs to get his cute derriere home and rest before NYC. That duet kicked major butt!! My favorite 'moment' of the night :2tears: Tommy, if you can hear me, you fucking slayed that guitar solo. Damn boy. Congrats to him! Great to see everyone together again. Adam is getting his interviews rescheduled..no worries on that one. China isn't going to forget Adam F. Lambert (and the camera knew about that crotch grab..c'mon...  ) Back into the ethers...poof...

My 29-year-old nephew had almost nothing but classic rock played at his wedding dance. I've thought about this too and have come to the conclusion that their parents played ALOT of music. You have to admit, some of the stuff that came out in the 60's and 70's still holds up today. On 4th of July I went to a bonfire party which was multi-generational but was hosted by the 25 - 30 crowd. All the music was from my era. IT WAS GREAT! They had a terrific sound system and it just such fun to hear some of that stuff again. Yeah, I know, classic rock stations and all that jazz but I just don't listen for all the repeats. Adam admits that some of his favorite groups were introduced to him by his parents.
