Grammy definitely needs to separate male and female pop categories again. One category for both is stupid. If they don't, it will remain all female nominees and that is ridiculous - females with big radio play-big sales and NO MALES NEED APPLY. BLAH. :-/ |

www.grammy.com/nominees Seems like there are a lot of rap categories. I wish they had more categories in the pop and light rock genres, like male and female, rather than lumping them into one category. It would definitely give Adam an edge. I notice Bruno, Rhianna, Coldplay were not nominated nor Katy Perry. Alicia Keys had a nice album out. Carley Ray's album and song did get nominated. I suspect it is all numbers driven, because it certainly is not all talent.
