omg... more people i've never heard of...three out of three this time [/IMG] hoping for at least some of them to become a nice surprise , but as long as Adam is there between the acts AND gets to perform a couple of times - IDC how everyone else sounds... I am getting really excited for my first LIVE encounter with Adam's voice this era - DEC 8!!!! so close! ETA: "VH1 DIVAS ADDS NATASHA BEDINGFIELD, BOOTSY COLLINS, KERI HILSON, LEDISI and IGGY AZALEA AS PERFORMERS WITH APPEARANCES BY LA LA ANTHONY, JENNA DEWAN, STACEY KEIBLER, NENE LEAKES AND KELLY OSBOURNE" actually - 9 out of 10! wow! lots to learn....

On twitter you have the luxury of controling the environment. Essentially contolling the nature of the messages you receive. Sounds like last night was a perfect time to be surrounded by like minds. It's great but not everything can be as controlled.
In life and on public message boards it is diverse and there is no way everyone will have similar views or emotional responses to a subject (Adam) we all are very pasionate about. How could they?--so you can't let that bother you.
I am thankful for the opposing views offered here for, although they may not change my mind, they help me to see things in a different way. I want to examine and explore and know Adam in every possible way and sometimes that takes the help of others. Of course like life, while we don't have the luxury of deleting the opposing views, we do have the luxury of focusing (scrolling) on those we want to. To me it is a perfect system.
Now I am going to get sappy and quote the US President, cause I think there is some similarities to necessary but undamaging arguements we have here (only in a much larger scale!). Scroll if you wish.
"Democracy in a nation of 300 million can be noisy and messy and complicated. We have our own opinions. Each of us has deeply held beliefs. And when we go through tough times, when we make big decisions as a country, it necessarily stirs passions, stirs up controversy.
That won't change after tonight, and it shouldn't. These arguments we have are a mark of our liberty."

And I see nothing wrong with mature fans expressing disappointment if done respectfully as adults should. It WAS disappointing and I imagine that even if Adam was out having fun, he felt a pang of disappointment as well. He IS human, after all, and he knows how good his work is. There's nothing wrong with that. I didn't unfollow people expressing disappointment in a respectful manner, I unfollowed people who were throwing real tantrums, cursing other people and artists and tweeting hate all over the place. And of course he felt a pang of disappointment, who wouldn't in his place? We ALL felt the disappointment, even those of us who didn't expect a nomination. But I'm sure he wasn't crying around like some people seemed to believe. And I'm also sure that tweeting him condolences about his lack of nominations didn't make him feel better. Just IMHO.
