One Republic was on a TV show this a.m. and were promoting their new single. They said that the revenue from the first 750,000 would go to an non-profit. Good gimmick for a good cause BUT they royally benefit if they sell 750,000 -- would probs put them in line for a grammy nom next year since numbers seem important. If numbers and popularity were all that mattered for the Grammys. Justin Bieber would have been nominated. He was not and his latest album was not bad -- "Believe" got a 68 on Metacritic. One Republic released a charity single for "Save the Children" in August 2012 -- "Feel Again". They are still promoting this single which is a lead-in the their new album due to be released in 2013. It is very unlikely to have any effect on the Grammy vote next year. |

Adam is probably the only person who has only said nice things about L&D -- and he did it without lying. There were raw edges and moment when Lindsay looked like Liz, and filled with Fierce Fashion!! Amazing way to maintain his integrity and support a friend. He is SO good at finding something positive to comment on. Like his one to KESHA this morning. He chose one song and said it is his jam. He did not say "this album is EVERYTHING" like he did with Sam. Adam says a lot by what he doesn't say.  I really think Adam would be a great PR person!! I guess he already is!!! |
