The heart of this performance was Adam Lambert and an iconic singer together. It was less about the sound and more about the creation of that kind of moment. The iconic one held her hand out in love to Adam. It was a pssing of the torch moment really. Some of the golden ones, Queen, Meatloaf, Lauper, Boy George Elton they love Adam because they see his greatness. Exactly. It was more about the moment. Plus, overall it sounded really good. Adam in particular sounded flawless, perfect, immaculate, sublime... Should I keep going? ;D IMO, his voice has gotten better and better. Look at how he sounds, so warm and gentle! OMG. So Cyndi had a couple of so-so moments; who the fuck cares? Not me! It was so good! :2tears: :2tears: :2tears: Personally, I love it when Adam does duets.

The Fiasco Shoot – and what an unfortunate name for a magazine this is, cool only if they haven’t had a single one – is not only a treat for the eyes and other body parts, but also serves as a little 101 in Adamology for his understanding Glamberts. Unornamented, without his usual impressive hairdos and glam make up, he presented himself in a generic, unorthodox (for him), New Yorker yuppy style, succeeding to offer something fresh and different yet again and proving a point or two, yet again. (all that imo, of course) First, his natural beauty is so striking, even more obvious with nothing to distract from his perfect features. Second, and that part still seems to be hard to grasp for many, he doesn’t normally get all prettied up and glammed up because he has some self-image issues or he is hiding something – just look at him, fcol, he is a triumph of genetics, one of those who got a really lucky draw of hands, in all games of cards. Also, once the Fiasco pics were out, everyone found him resembling someone else, with the exact image eluding and staying just out of reach. Alas, no match found:) Whereas, with the dolled up Adam, no one even thinks about comparing, and I think that there is a fat chance for mistaking Adam for anyone else in all his versions – be that this shoot, or his comfy plaid shirt- beanie cap adorableness… Third, it’s a power demonstration – there isn’t a style he can’t pull off, successfully at that. Adam has managed to create his image in a way few have, through diversity to distinction. We can talk Madonna-style, MJ-style and I think we can talk Adam-style: beautiful, provocative, challenging. So, yesterday I was condemned through a series of unfortunate incidents to a small notebook computer with dysfunctional keyboard and never have I been more grateful for Atop and its hard working busy-bees. Even the outrageous guessing game of identifying a man sitting with Adam was so hilarious in its absurdity. I looked forward to hearing him sing Mad World once again, it’s been a long time and in his Keek from rehearsal, Adam just let me taste the honey off of his finger, firing up the hunger and insanity in me with one little lick, making me once again do ridiculous things, like sit in the toilet with a notebook in my lap, wee hours in the morning – hiding from my family members, of course. I cannot speak of keys, falsettos and harmonies, or notes and majors and minors, but I can say he sounded like golden honey dripping over the glazed sweet pears and I felt like biting into their luscious decadence. Also, angels, cherubs and all that fairy tale dreaminess come to mind. I’m sorry, I know I haven’t said anything new and I hope no one will give me an evil eye for that. It was a wonderful day yesterday. Beautiful!

Wish he was singing MW alone. CL was distracting me and not in a good way I actually love this duet and the harmony between Adam & Cindi until at the end of the song.. LOL. That's just coz Cindi sounded a bit off for my ear. But all and all, it's a great duet. I wanted to hear them duet True Color though, it's not happening

FWIW - I just looked at (and listened to this). I'm pretty sure he says "sounds better when I'm with singing her."

Hallo Adamtoppies Just dropped by to say: Adam's voice on Mad World was like a broken-hearted angel. I also loved the contrast between him and Cyndi on the song. Sometimes things stand out differently when they are juxtaposed. I also loved that I hadnt heard MW for such a long time, it restimulated my brain! Also hot leather pants on both these lovely beings - I can only say YES. Also Adam's eyes: deep water. What's this man going through? Blessings to you all, its so beautiful to watch for me, me watching Adam and watching his fans loving him. Anja Lee HELLOOOOOOO;; You've been so missed Happy to see you here.
