What were the Blonds tweeting about? I just went to Rolling Stones website and Trespassing was not in their top 50 albums of 2012. TPS is the first in readers' choice, not RS choice. |

I just got an email from Cafe Magazine that they may not be able to send everyone the Fiasco copy with Adam on the cover but the inside pictures of each of the 4 cover magazines are the same. Fiasco said they print equal amounts of each cover and that's what each vendor gets. So...we have to take the chance that the copy we get will have Adam on the front. Looks like Fiasco is finding out how powerful an AFL cover on a magazine can be!! Keeping fingers crossed mine will have Adam on the cover. Well....all the other photos will still be in the magazine.

Just got an email from Magazine Cafe telling me that there is a one in four chance I would receive the FIASCO Magazine with Adam on the cover. They said all the inside was the same, just they are forced to buy all the Issue 23's. I think I'll cancel....Don't want to risk it. Only want Adam on the cover. aargh

I was shocked when I found out TSP is not among RS's choice of top 50 albums of 2012. 50 is a friggin big number But anyway ... I trust reader's choice this time ;D |

I went to BookPeople today, a really cool locally owned bookstore here in Austin, just to check out the Fiasco situation although I knew they would probably only have the November edition. Fiasco's list says they were a source here in Austin. First I went to the magazine shelves and couldn't find it, so I tracked down a salesperson. She looked it up and said they were supposed to have one left which was delivered Nov. 21 and we went to the shelf and she couldn't find it either. I told her I was really interested in the December edition and while we were walking back to her station she said she would call the Bookpeople magazine buyer and see what he knew and get me on a list because they have regulars who purchase foriegn magazines. Well, the buyer she spoke to said that he had heard of the edition, it was a hot item (sounding very surprised), and he had already had a number of inquiries about it. I told the young lady that Adam Lambert was on the cover and she said Oh! I don't know if she had heard of him or not, but she took my name and number and they will call me when the magazine comes in. It was very apparent that they had never had that much interest in Fiasco before. I hope I luck out and get one, but won't know until late December. It would be a nice belated Christmas present. |
