LMAOOOO OMG, it's Neil!!!! I hadn't noticed!!!! 
I love it! Neil is actually a really good pianist. He tweeted out links to a couple of YouTube videos showing him playing the piano and he plays beautifully. (At least, it sounded really good to me--I'm no expert!) I'd post the links but I can't find them; maybe they've been taken down.Didn't Eber once say that Neil plays piano almost as good as Adam can sing. I remember thinking at the time... "Wow, that must mean Neil is reeeeaaaaalllly good?! So this should be interesting to see how much piano he actually gets to play:-) WELCOME Valbird  |

I don't really think that is what he is implying at all.
He's clearly implying that this wouldn't have happened if we "reinstate God & prayer back into our schools." Therefore, people like me who support the separation of church and state and are preventing said reinstatement, must be at fault. If only the heathen among us would allow the teaching of religion in schools, we'd all be safer!
If all he was doing is seeking solace through his beliefs, he could have simply said that he was praying for the families. Instead he chose to offer his own opinion about what would have prevented this tragedy--and given the violent history of religion, it's not a valid opinion. I don't see what's wrong with people pointing that out.I wholly and completely support the separation of church and state---yet I don't believe Gokey is blaming me personally for the shooting. The discussion of Gokey and Religion is closed on the news thread and any further posts should be on the Social Action thread. |
