I soooo want to be free tonight by 9:00 ET. I don't get VH1 but have bookmarked a couple live streams. I feel pretty confident that if anyone posts YouTubes, they will disappear extremely fast. Plus, I want to see the entire show, not bits and pieces. Here is the plot. I have some family coming over for dinner and tree trimming. No, I couldn't plan it for another night because I always do it on Dec. 16. They know it and have planned stuff ( it's my birthday tradition  There is no other time in the weekend because my sister and I have concerts (except this morning when I need to practice with my worn out fingers  ). So I'm trying to get all the decor items as organized as possible so the tree trimming will go FAST. Then they can leave. Yes, it's cruel. I expect I'll miss the beginning of the show. My name is Holst and I am a closeted stan.Hahaha... Happy Birthday, Holst, and may the tree trimming go fast :D If it's any comfort, the show starts at 3 am for me. |

They will pick one of Madonna dance tracks -- I hope one of the early club song. I can see Adam picking "Ray of Light" which is a great house track and a song we know he knows. Many of the best/most popular Madonna songs would not make sense done by a gay man -- "Like a Virgin"?? Many of her early dance tracks were girl power songs and I can't see Adam doing -- "Express Yourself". But I will be happy if it is ANYTHING except "Vogue". >> ETA -- I just saw the photos of VOGUE -- it is f'ing VOGUE! *** I am hoping Adam performs "Let's Dance". It is Bowie's biggest and most famous dance track (and one of my favs). It was part of Adam's American Idol Bowie medley and I thought it was great "Adamized". He interpretation of LD is so different from Bowie's -- where Bowie is cold and controlled in his approach, Adam is hot. All we have from 2009 are fan videos of this performance.... |
