Watched ROL in HD couple of more times.. the beginning wasn't as bad as what I heard yesterday. He was slightly off for 40 seconds but he was consistent in that key. When you can't hear your own voice in the monitor. There's nothing you can do. He did a fairly good job.
After he recovered on the first chorus 'And I feelllllllllllll.....' he did a very nice job to pull it together. Very strong vocals. I just love his professionalism.
What a wonderful night last night. So happy for him.

does any one here feel there's a Melvin theme going on in the Adam Circle? Adam, Neil, Sauli, Sutan, Brian, Tommy, Lee... It's winter, they have to keep their faces warm 8-) 8-) |

Adam was fab, loved the costume changes. It was his night. I hate dry feed and I was cringing with the Madonna song over the sound initially. Not one of my favorite songs. Adam is too good for a Madonna song. His range far exceeds hers. She is a dancer, not a singer, but she knows how to sell herself. It seemed that the sound was decent for the other singers except Adam...it must be the dry feed.
I sat on the edge of my seat for 2 hours, trembling...hoping that all would be well. Big sigh of relief after it was over. Now I can go back and rewatch Adam umpteen times. I was afraid to post, but see others also had the same concerns.
Metric sucked, as did Paloma Faith. Did not like Kelley's dress. Miley Cyrus was great and so was was Natasha Bettingfield. The others were okay. My only wish was for Adam to perform one of his own songs like TSP or Shady.
Adam just rocked, and he definitely has many talents. He is way too humble. Glee and SNL take note !!!!!!!!!!!!

A few things band members said. Tommy said VietNam is right after Bali. Johnny said he comes back to LA after those 2 shows. Johnny is the sweetest guy. I just wantd to tell him that I loved watching him onstage & love the loyalty Adam has tto his ffriends and vice versa. The man engaged me in a 15 minute conversation!! He is just adorable!!  Other deets, I got to the venue the same time Sauli, Danille, and Leila arrived. The three were together. The people I saw from Adam's family/friends were the whole band except Rick (but he may have ben there. Just didn't se him.) Leila, Danielle, Sauli, Neil, Elisse, Lee, Scarlett, and another couple that I did not recognize. The PIT and the whole first 6 rows of the middle section of the theatre is "cast." That is why there are only young people there. The only glitch the whole night was that sound issue at the beginning of ROL. The crew was amazing. Such a professional production. I would go see a VH1 DIVAS show again, in a heartbeat! |

And it had to happen to Adam, it couldn't have happened to the Metric girl (no one would have noticed if it had happened to her, to be honest...  ). Anyway, I'm glad that everything went well, dry mic and everything. Werk, Adam!!!!!  |
