Adam has a real talent for wearing and owning his outfits. The ROL tunic wore him.
The entire show did sound very much better when I listened and watched back today. I even saw Terrance a couple of times. I first watched totally focused on Adam and I think I held my breath. I usually do when I watch Jim.

Although I did plan to put into realization that splendid ‘let’s get sloshed’ idea from yesterday, it kind of got forgotten in the choppy stream/ twitter/ atop frenzy I found myself in the middle of… Yep, that was my frenzy and I could barely keep afloat, whereas Adam had a tad trickier task and he sailed through it like a 37-knot, turbine-powered mega-yacht. (There was one major CHUG moment though – after all the glitch-centered posts here on Atop, repeated ad nauseam, I went and fixed myself a gin and tonic in the only large enough container I could find at 4 AM, which was a bloody vase, hahaha…)
To keep up the nautical analogies: he hosted like a felucca, sang like a schooner, and was styled like a cruiser. He rocked all the boats, and if you managed to stay on board, you’d see that Captain Adam took us a long way off coast, opting for adventurously riding the waves instead of staying safely anchored in the port.
My favourite outfit: the audacious jumpsuit ( I just love me some crazy Adam!). Favourite performance: hallucinogenic Let’s Dance ( The chills that he spills up my back keep me filled with satisfaction when we're done, satisfaction of what's to come… I couldn't ask for another : ))) . Favourite hosting moment: da body roll in the grey suit customized by Mr. Koskinen. Plus the kiss.
He has made some serious waves, and they are going to be kissing our shores for quite some time. And I'll be his cabin boy for all intents and purposes.

A message from our Shadow...she was watching the Divas last night with close-captioning, and when someone commented about Pitbull being the sexiest man, the closed captioning added "except for Adam Lambert.". Shadow said she replayed it to make sure she wasn't seeing things! ;D PS:she still lurks now and again. I'm just laughing so hard I scared the cat. Quick question When you were fortunate enough to chat with Johnny, did you happen to get the jist of whether the dancers would be touring in Feb or March and just returning for the month break. Or is that it for Terrance and Johnny?  I think they add to the performances and I would be happy to see them along for the mini-tour to give the show added dimension? Maybe you do not wish to discuss your conversation too overtly...but inquiring minds are inquiring minds. :  : ...anything that you can share about being chosen/asked to perform with the Diva show and with Adam's performances. thanks! |

Oh, wondering what Adam is feeling lame-assed about? If it's the tunic, hey, Elmo got a huge WTF at first too. He might have been feeling all symbol-ey. Remember the chat he had with Madonna and it was all about astrology? Madonna may order one for herself. 8-) Or maybe the bum notes when he didn't have a feed. Nothing to do about that one. Don't beat yourself up, Adam! It was all perfectly you. |

I didn't want to question him too much so I did not ask about Japan and Russia and Finland. The only reason VietNam came up is because he was talking about how much he has been able to travel and was excited about Bali. He is REALLY excited about Bali! So, I asked if he had been to China before. He said "Yes, last year with Kylie Minoque." Then he mentioned that Viet Nam will be a new place. I told him that I have seen photos and travel videos of Viet Nam and looks unbelievably beautiful. So, I asked if he will get any time off to vacation there. He said, "No. I have another job booked and have to get back right back to LA." |
