I've been hanging around this place since it was Planet Fierce - three years ago. Ancient, I tell ya.
Many of you 'virtual' friends have now become the real deal - we've met at Fantasy Springs, Moscow, London, SF, LA - and a dozen places in-between. Each time we greet one another with our 'Adamtopian' names, and the love and connection is made. Oh, it's been the ride of a lifetime for me. And, this train isn't going to stop anytime soon.
I have held on to you through many days. The days when I thought my little newborn granddaughter, Penelope, might die. You kept me afloat. She is now reigning terror on the honeycakes in the kitchen.
And, lately, you have sent messages of love and understanding.
I am just learning how to live without my mother. I'm waiting to hear the voice so many of you say you hear from your loved ones. Mom, where are you?
I am left with so little to say. The shining words; the wit and happiness, coming from everyone here, fill me up and transport me and I smile and even laugh aloud; because life really is just this good. Yes! With all Adam has shown me and taught me, the best gift is laughter and love.
Thank you, dear Adamtopian friends. From around the world. We are like seeds that sprouted new growth when Adam Lambert fertilized our minds and our spirits and emotions. Some of us have already climbed the beanstalk; some of us are struggling to grow. But we all know we have seen the sun; and we flourish in its welcome warmth and invitation to become.
