Thanks Maddie! Do they only list 10 top albums? Not 100? Can you add a link so we can see?
I haven't seen the official Nielsen Company & Billboard's 2012 Music Industry Report, yet, it just came out yesterday but here is the link to the 2011 report: www.businesswire.com/news/home/20120105005547/en/Nielsen-Company-Billboard , which you can tell only mentions the top 10 of every category. The info I got was from @chartnews which was from SoundScan, it's not hard to figure out the year-end SoundScan list if you have access to all the numbers. I'll keep an eye out for all the chart sources in the next few days, hopefully, somewhere or someone eventually will have the extended list, and hopefully we'll be able to see the official 2012 report in a couple of days (2011's came out public on the 5th).

The Soundscan year end list posted at UKMIX gives us the sales total for Trespassing as of the end of the calendar year.
179 RCA LAMBERT*ADAM TRESPASSING 173,639
Only 10 albums sold more than 1,000,000 Only 43 albums sold more than 500,000 Only 118 albums sold more than 250,000

What I mean are the total of albums over 250K, 118 or is it 118+43+10= 171?
