This has been my idea for Adam on Glee for quite awhile: He's the new teacher. Seems very conservative, very strict. But one night some of the kids sneak out to a new club and enjoy the performance by a wild rockin' dude with crazy black hair and makeup and tight, sexy clothes. They look closer. It's Mr. Strict! So they work on getting him to perform in one of their shows. He's reluctant, but eventually they talk him into it, and the show ends with a blow-out ensemble performance from Adam and the kids. !!! Mainly I would like to see a live presentation of Adam in concert. But as for a plotted show . . . Well, I read that Cher is creating a show for Logo set in 1960's Hollywood. I like the idea of Adam getting some Surprise cameos, parts that aren't listed in the credits or anything, especially in something unique (which it sounds like this would be). So, I was thinking, who was in Hollywood at that time that one of the main characters in the show (I can't find any details yet about the show other than 1960's Hollywood) could run into? For example, the main character could be working on a film and in the commisary, on break from another movie, is Elvis. Adam really resembles him in so many photos - Elvis evidently hated some of those movie songs - maybe Elvis/ Adam could be singing and making fun of one of them . . . And, you know, the camera would never even be directly on him, something else is what's mostly going on except for a few seconds. And people would ask, who was that, was that Adam Lambert? He really looks/sounds like Elvis! I've also often thought Adam would look damn good in a costume drama, some slightly reimagined classic like Wuthering Heights only somehow ambiguity in the sexuality of Adam 's character would be a factor. That's all I've got (sorry), but reading/day-dreaming roles for Adam is very diverting and entertaining, I think.  Me, too. I still have not outgrown costume drama. Adam would be good at it, I know. I already have imagined him being a knight and I am a damsel in distress (ha,ha!)  But his sexuality would be a factor for others. It is different if you are already established in the acting field and then admit being gay. As for Elvis/Adam ... it is a very very interesting twist ... surprise, surprise!!! Scotia.... Ok, Adam has done things with his voice that have blown me away, but I don't think he could ever sound like Elvis. He looks like Elvis, sure, but his voice sounds too different. lol But hey, he has surprised me many, many times, so bring it on. 8-)
I'm finding this thread quite difficult. I want to see him in EVERYTHING! :2tears: :2tears: :2tears: So many ideas that I'm getting lost in my own mind! :2tears:
Mostly, I would like to see him sing classical again, so I'm joining the Les Mis and Brigadoon plots. lol The other day I dreamed that Adam was back on Idol and that there was a musical theater week. Adam absolutely killed the other contestants that night. lol In my dream, he sang Brigadoon (I'm completely obsessed with that performance, so I'm not surprised that was the song he sang in my dream, lol).

That is it! We imagine Adam in so many things!
But one at a time, we should post our favorites so we will have something to look back to and share. Perhaps our ideas will be picked up and our wishes come true.
I have imagined so many ways how Come to Me Bend To Me could be presented on TV. It could be shown in "So You Think You Can Dance" - Adam singing while two ballet dancers interpret the song at the background. That would be a dreamy number...
Another one is a TV special of "favorites from theatre" ... some big names and Adam sings two: one of them is CTMBTM, perhaps the other one from Phantom of the Opera. This way, we attract the fans of other singers and realize how good Adam is.

It would be amazing to hear Adam sing "Music of the Night." I think when he is a little older he would kill the role of the Phantom.
In a totally different vein, I would like to see him one day play the role of the Emcee in Cabaret. The physicality and decadence he could bring to that role would be overwhelming. When I first saw Adam, it was at the AMAs, and I thought he was paying a deliberate homage to Cabaret; I was surprised no one else picked up on it and I have seldom seen it mentioned. It seemed to me he was presenting a modern-day version of the Kit Kat Club.

It could show off not only his incredible singing talents but his wonderful comedic timing. Then he could dress up in all kinds of fun costumes which he loves. But maybe he's too unconventional for that although it might be a lot of fun for him and for us. ;D
I want him on snl sooo bad!

I would love that! I was watching a half-hour infomercial for Carol Burnett DVDs the other day and realized that I miss that kind of variety show. As you suggested, they gave performers an opportunity to display a range of skills and I know Adam would be fantastic on something like that. |

VARIETY SHOW.... Now that you mentioned it.. .. truly a variety show would be awesome. If we can think of a theme that would surely click, a title that is catchy ... then we can hope that someone with influence read this and turn it into reality. Of course the variety show would include guests ... who might we want them to be? PLL ... If Adam is to return to PLL as a guest... how would the storyline be? Wiki is a good reference for those who do not know what Pretty Little Liars is all about. Glee... Your stories were a delight to read!!!  I am sure we can hatch plots that has a possibility of turning to reality. |
