This interview is one of my all time favs. Adam is so relaxed and calm and happy. The interviewer does a great job. And it is focused on music!

I think I understand what's going on in Adam's career a little more...I'm getting the feeling and management has so stated ,that Adam needs more live experience ,more polish ,etc. In a way I feel like our guy is traveling the world not only to get known but to gain his sea legs.. I know I thought he was already at the top of his game.. Not so, if he is to become the iconic star many of us believe him to become.I think His management team have an enormous plan for Adam to become a super world wide star with longevity. This is another reason I'm glad he didn't get the idol judge gig.. IMHO he needs to be and do exactly what he's doing.. Singing all over the world. I so loved the CNTV interview... It explained so much about Adam's journey.. He as much as said he is still learning and that he is at the beginning of his amazing career. I think the interview made me less anxious and more patient where Adam's career is going. He has made enormous strides and gains, but it's the longevity ,step by step build up to being iconic that is so important. His fans will help get him there with our love, devotion and support. it makes me feel all the more that I will do everything to help Adam ,the great performer and Adam ,the great human being. So if he didn't get a nod for the Grammys this year, although I feel the album was more than worthy, there is next year and the next year.. To paraphrase Adam,I will be able to keep singing in the industry.. I will continue to have jobs in the business I love. He is in this for the long run and so am I ,as evidenced by my life at the computer on all things Adam ,for the last 3-4 years. What is this based on? "management has so stated ,that Adam needs more live experience ,more polish ,etc."? I cannot comprehend anyone involved with Adam thinking this and certainly no manager would ever say something like this. The comments Adam made in the CCTV interview are consistent with statements he made in May 2009 the day after Idol that he wanted to longevity, he wanted to preform and record music for many years. RCA execs have consistently talked about Adam's superior abilities as a live performer and personality. Both of his management companies execs (19M and now DMG) have made similar statements. Adam is in Asia, because music is a global business and he has opportunities there. The 2012 numbers are coming out and the US market is about 17%-20% of the major labels global income from recording artists. The rest of the world is a lot bigger market. Regarding Grammy nominations, some artists including Adam appreciate the recognition but I am not aware of any artist is judged as not successful because of a Grammy nomination. I expect that some fans have thought a whole lot more about this than Adam has. Thanks Q3. The knowledge that you share always gives me much to think about. 8-)

I'm so behind again, I just watched videos of Vietnam.
Adam was great. :2tears: The Vietnamese people are polite, friendly and great people!
But I hate the fact that Adam has so often the sound problems! >:( I got to work with myself, so that I would not be focused on voice problems, instead, that I would have enjoyed Adam's performance.

WOW I did read that management said he was at the beginning of this new career ,etc. maybe I got the wrong impression. There were no quotes around management,I got what I thought they implied.. I don't save articles ,so I wouldn't know where to look..I shouldn't have said management stated without having the quote.I will remove . In no instance said I thought Adam wasn't doing well or wasn't successful. I think he's a world wide star and have said it often& I'm a great supporter and lover of Adam's talent. I talked about a nod for a Grammy because I think his trespassing is incredible.I think either I have not stated my feelings well or somehow there is a miscommunication. Geez ,I think I won't be writing for here for a while,if I have a problem communicating .. I have deleted my original, although you have it here.. I feel like I have just been kicked to the ground. not trying to start a rumor about management... the rest was my opinion..

I actually recall an article about DMG and how they "polished" Katy Perry BEFORE she broke records , they made her do lots of live performances . They made her host shows . Maybe they are doing the same with Adam .
