Apparently Just a Fool was Xtina's 2nd single and it tanked on radio. I didn't even know that. ;D Not single material but a lovely song! I would love to hear Adam's version!
Just saw this:
It is?? I just read that it went nowhere. I really don't know.

I have no doubt Adam sang the heck out of Just a Fool and would love to hear it but I don't think it was better than any songs on the album. When you get down to it is too simple compared to the other songs. Nothing original or "fresh" in the lyrics, melody or theme. Which is actually the reason I think the other songs not written by him stand out on the album too.

YW Albuku!!scorpiobert: "Just A Fool" was cut by Adam for Trespassing now on Christina Aguilera's album Bobby Sukhraj @bobbysukhraj Imagem's Steve Robson over songwriting: '.. the most important thing is to be sympathetic to the artist..' pic.twitter.com/6OHdSmXq Does it mean Adam wrote or co-wrote the song? I think it just means it was cut from the album. Probably one of the songs that got discarded when he changed direction. I don't think he wrote on it since it was originally pitched to Pink.

The Christina/Blake version has a tinge of Country production. I would guess Adam's version would have been more P!NK style. I love the song. Not better than any on the album but if they were set on a Claude Kelly single & something like WWFM, I'd have gone with this one instead of BTIKM. ETA: That article is about the songwriter, Steve Robson. The other writers of that song were Claude Kelly and Wayne Hector.

Stats for Just a Fool with Xtina & Blake S:
peaked at 39 chr and 32 HAC with no adds this week and starting negative bullets on both
ETA - Correction on twitter - it did get a couple of adds this week so maybe not done yet.
