I'm at work, so I'm stuck with IE....and an old, crappy version of IE at that. I feel like I'm back in the mid-80's. The interface is *that* clunky. ARG!!! Oh, dear! Not sure there is a remedy for that. Sorry that you're stuck with an old browser. Do you have a smartphone? The forum is working fine on my iphone, even the floating page numbers. That might be your only option for now. :( Yeah, I have a smartphone, but its hard to type with it (um, and I frequently mess up the mod buttons when I do because I'm apparently "poking impaired"). But this upgrade does NOT play nicely with IE7, which is what I'm stuck with until I get tech refreshed (missed the last cutoff by two weeks; no idea when the heck the next one might be)

The following function is cool! You can click on a user's name and follow that person. Then, when you go to your profile, you can look at a feed just of the people you are following. It would take some experimentation, but be great for those users (like momtomany for me) where you never wanted to accidentally miss a post.

Is this how you initiate a new post?? Is quick reply the only way? How do you start a new post that is not a quote and doesn't use quick reply which doesn't give you font options etc.?? I am feeling like a klutz Theosgma there is a Reply at the top right hand corner of the page. Click it and you can do a new post.

Bigger avis are good, but entire board look so small on my monitor. Well, I’m sure I’ll get used to it

Well since you find it easier to navigate, maybe you can tell me how you create a new message which is not a response. I have no idea how to do that. Obviously many of you know how so could someone please enlighten me. Thanks! You can either type something in the "Quick Reply" box at the bottom of the page (it's not a reply to anyone, just a regular post). Or you can go to the top of the page at the upper right corner and hit "Reply" and a box will open that will allow you to type a post. Hope this helps. I don't have reply in the upper right hand corner of my regular pages. I only see it when I am responding to a message like this. Do you have it on just your regular pages?

I am only finding the reply button when I respond to a post It does not seem to be on the regular page. Oh well. I guess I can just do it like this.
Has anyone tried to change an avi? With these large lovely avis I am starting to think about it as I have passed over some pictures that just don't show up well enough with the size we had before.
Is there any way to preview? I hate posting without looking at it first.
