While Adam Lambert has been singing with Queen, there has been a groundswell of support for Marc Martel, who fronts the Queen Extravaganza and is a dead ringer vocally to the late Freddie Mercury, to take the mantle of fronting the band, and Martel says he'd love to if asked. Who would you choose?I think Marc is fantastic. I want to see him and Adam split the setlist for a show. There are certain songs I think he handles better than Adam and vice versa |

Brian and Roger could have used Freddie imitators for the past 20 years. They haven't. It would be disrespectful to Freddie & IMO, their fans. They have always used people who can sing and interpret the music in their own style. They could have done those 6 shows with Martel, if they wanted to. They didn't.  They are smart enough to know that both Queen and Freddie fans would totally reject them if they did real concerts with an impersonator. |

STL? Sorry, not saying he is not a good singer. But his interpretation of Queen's songs and copying of Freddie really put me off. of coz, JMHO. |

Wouldn't it be weird for Brian and Roger to see someone in front of them copying Freddie? Fronting Queen and touring with Queen is not like doing some talent TV show. EXACTLY!!! But some Queen fans who still don't like Adam will not forget that Adam's a product of some talent TV show. But you've got the point. |

Sorry, not saying he is not a good singer. But his interpretation of Queen's songs and copying of Freddie really put me off. of coz, JMHO. STL, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Radio Gaga. There's some songs he performed that Adam didn't that sounded amazing. And again, vice versa, like he's never performed Who Wants to Live Forever. Stick them both together with a big setlist, WIN WIN |
