Thanks Q3! Didn't think of clicking the smiling button on normal reply, duh! But I have to scroll both ways, cannot adjust the size of the pop-up. Using a laptop with 17" screen and IE.  (and when I choose a smiley as above both the 'smiley' and the 'view all smileys' windows stay where they are blocking the view - hm, maybe it was that way in the old layout too - which made me reluctant to go find the most representative smileys...) Anyway, I like the more narrow preset - and to some extent the 'more air' feeling. (a little negative in that and with bigger avis > more scrolling needed...) Some cool new features to explore, yay! Promise to school myself during the next few days - and after getting a new mouse I might be able to function more smoothly. P-) (don't know what that means but this needs an image/icon w/e) |

 Q3 thank you so much for all your hard work. I still have a problem with "latest post" link. The previous board showed the threads in chronological order. I can't see a similar link. At this stage I only pop in at the daily thread

About the being signed in (which I used).
With the new version proboards made me sign anew and now
when I have to do it again due to the freeze problem it
gives my nick and an option to just click it. Don't know
if I remeber correctly but I think that earlier I had to
start writing it... Not a big problem though.
Well, only that there is a small thingy in the bottom right
corner for switch board/account etc. It is very cose to the place
where I put my cursor to rest - and then use touchpad to
get further down on page. With very little pratice my cursor
wanders to click something I didn't intend because it is so
close.

I will put together comprehensive instructions once all the changes are done. For now, you will need to sign in every time you come to Adamtopia. I have a list of requests for Proboards and top of my list is a leave me signed on option. Since we now have Secured Single Sign On, SSSO, this may not be possible. Actually when you sign in there is a little check box under your username saying "remember me" - if you tick that you will stay signed in (at least it seemed to work for me). |

BTW Q3, did you see my suggestion in the shoutbox?
