OooooK about that popdust voting thing.... I just spent some 4 hours on that and we gained 1% .... and thanks to my laptop quitting on me inbetweeen, I had some time to think: Thanks to Energy Radio it was not much of a loss of time, but do we really want to dedicate the next couple of days to a contest with teenagers whose reason we even can understand very well? To be honest, fans of that girl group are not anyone I would want to "battle". I would rather hug them. Is Adam not far, far beyond a contest like that? Fellow, Atopers pls answer, I'd like to know your opinion .... Yes...he is lol....but it's a trap I tell you, once you start to see the #'s change you must keep on!!! AND, I'm supposed to be working. That's why I posted the above .... "voters anonymous" But I refuse to make that my life. I'd rather enjoy my Adam time with all the "pretty" and vids and soundclouds we have. Oh well, there is nothing like a reformed sinner. Apologies (zzz) ETA: That's not an opinion meant to be applied to people who vote!!! Believe me, I get it, but I - for myself - have changed my opinion on the matter. Anyway, go have fun, whatever you do

[looks up] Oh my, the bulge To be honest, I started voting when Shoshanna tweeted about it. This probably means it's important to her, ergo it's important for Adam. I was wondering where that picture was taken...and then your post reminded me !

My thought is that if we enlist our out of country and USA time zone fan base, we should be able to make a dent in this. I doubt 5th Harmony has picked up an International following. If we send an SOS to our Glamberts in Europe, Aussies, Oz, Far East etc. (don't want to leave anyone out) maybe that would help.

Since Adam singing the NA is again in the news thread, thanks to AfterElton, I thought I would repost something I wrote a long while back about Adam's interpretation at the Spielberg event: You have probably heard everything Adam posted on YT, but someone just referred to this -- Adam singing the National Anthem, a cappella, and I thought as I listened that here is a wonderful example of not only the powerful, beautiful voice, but a touching interpretation. As you know, the song is a bitch to sing well. The words are usually an after thought, sung without meaning, except for the ultimate power note on "free." Adam phrases this song with intent. He builds it up, takes it back down, softens it in preparation for a big phrase following, emphasizes words that are usually thrown away. He does so much with his diction at points in this song. So much that adds meaning. I particularly like how he sings "the bombs bursting (breath) in air gave PROOF, (breath) proof thru the night". The choice to extend the lyrical phrase past the obvious musical phrase is stunning. The word "proof" is usually completely lost when people sing this. Adam recognizes that "PROOF" was what the author was anxiously, breathlessly waiting for that night, afraid that his new country might not be strong enough to withstand the bombardment. The final phrase, "land of the FREE" gets the drama we Americans expect from the top of that phrase (tho' personally, I wish he had just held the high note endlessly instead of adding the run --- but it is almost obligatory these days). But the very last... "and the home of the.......(wait for it, wait for it) BRave!!!" The way he attacks and proudly emphasizes that last word, even tho' the musical line loses power by ending low, almost as if it is an after thought. Not when Adam sings it. That one word, "BRAVE" is so powerful, it shows mastery to me in that song. Thanks for this, Cassie! I have never seen this video. Your analysis combined with Beyonce's lovely interpretation help establish the truth even more: the undeniable, irresistible, overwhelming power of Adam Lambert's beautiful voice.

*Probably unnecesary/oversensitive rant, be warned*A gay sex symbol? What, so there's a difference between gay and straight sex symbols? Or maybe because he's gay he can only be a sex symbol for gays? Please. A sex symbol is a sex symbol. Why add the label "gay" there?

I started thinking about it ever since JustGill mentioned it first. I don't have to leave for work tomorrow before noon, so I promise to tweet, vote and spread the word as much as I can. And poke my fellow Europeans:)

If I'm actually correct (miracles do happen) we have time to get in 2 days of extra-curricular activity .
