Catz --
I'm a pastor (not active currently, but still a pastor) and these billboards are AMAZING! Sure they're controversial, but that's the point. I'm glad the church is provoking conversation because that's how change happens. Thanks so much for sharing these!

OT, but too funny. Here is a video of Adam's buddy Sam Sparro commenting on Beyonce's singing at the Inauguration--hilarious! No wonder he and Adam get along.

So glad you like them and I agree totally about provoking conversation does facilitate change :D As I said there have been protests over some, but if it helps just one person to open their mind and embrace the diversity that is humanity - then I'm good with that. Don't want to spam, but here's another couple...

Catz!
Great to hear from you; and I wish I could be in NZ and visit the church with those captivating and seriously thought-provoking messages.
And, I can see myself in the Hammersmith photo! Yep! Doing my best to clap in synch to 'Radio Gaga'!
Oh! Such a memory! Minded the banner in the first row balcony!

Tokyo, Kanazawa, Osaka VIP Packages now sold out. (VIP for Nagoya is least fav since it's all-standing & M&G may mean losing your position)

I've been trying to figure out how to pronounce for ages. It that correct? Sroll alert for those who aren't interested... Yes! Although I am currently back in school getting a degree in Mental Health Counseling (soooo appropriate for this group!) I am an ordained pastor and have over 15 years experience in ministry -- I worked in parishes, was a hospice chaplain and spent the past 2 1/2 years working at a funeral home and cemetery (doing sales/customer service/grief counseling). Currently I am unemployed and still do services for people. I have always been "out-of-the-box" as a pastor and love to challenge norms. One thing I have always loved about Adam and this fandom is the level of acceptance he promotes. This is actually the same thing Jesus taught (but many have trouble with). I feel like one of the cool kids here--yay! BTW, I have always had gay friends and have been for marriage equality for years. Our church body (Lutheran) has made being a gay pastor okay, but it caused a lot of friction in the church. I always want to ask those folks -- don't you have bigger things to worry about? Hunger, water, poverty...okay, I'll get off my soapbox now and swim back to the shallow end... Peace to all!
