I agree with everything Q3 and Cassie wrote this morning about Idol and Adam. I can't imagine what the last four years would have been without this amazing singer and beautiful, generous, sweet, honest, charismatic, talented, heroic, intelligent human being. As a first time fan, I am so glad I lived long enough to experience being a fan of a truly worthy man. So I thank American Idol producers for seeing what we all saw: the light that radiates from within this remarkable man.

Over the years, many of us have puzzled over comments people have made about Adam "screaming," though these comments might have been more common in the early years off of AI. It isn't screaming, of course. This term popped up in conversation last night with a friend who said she'd had some of the current AI on. She said she gets tired of the singers screaming. I asked what she meant. I've watched a few of the auditions and didn't see screaming. She said they sing loudly, that's all they do. She used the word repeatedly and stressed that there is more to singing than volume. I was really surprised at this description, but I don't know why after all this time. I guess it's a descriptor that means VERY different things to different people. (BTW, we did not talk about Adam.)

Why is everything in caps? If you selected an Egyptian theme, it is in large and small caps. I will probably change it because it is tiresome to read. But it is more in character with the style.

(Late, but...) I experience the same problems with the board as Jazzhands (also using W7+IE9).
I get 'non-responsive' (=frozen, from IE) very often, 'internal server error' (from proboards) sometimes and once even 'cutting off hazardous functions from this site' (from IE). Earlier, I had some problems with broken links and disappearing photos, too - but it is much more frequent now. Also, it never used to get as severe as frozen board, just empty spaces.
I am afraid that the more automatic pic/video embedding gets the more easier it will be to leave the link out. That makes reading quite awkward. There must be others like us, so please keep posting the links too. After reopening we can use them at least.
