Great idea, Socialitelife, to publish some fan art!
I was just talking about source, re augenpoesie's great work, and I think the modification she made is original albeit based on a photo just like most of these fan art pieces are. Shouldn't they give credit to the artists (even though they are fans)? Or at least to a fan art site if they found them there. Or did they tweet and ask people to submit pieces? All pics are not signed, or the signature is not seen in the pic. My personal ponderings only - hoping the artists are ok with this.
The funniest thing, I think the pic #29 is of Sauli. Am I seeing things?
PS I see augenpoesie posted on the subject during the time I was writing the above. Copyright is tricky. I am not sure but I think the adam-pics site buys pro pics and a credit to them is quite enough (for many purposes, surely for free fan art).

You know what I would like to see...as a social experiment. I would like to see JT take a man, as a date, to those Grammy's and to come out proud and open as gay....and then see what happened to the reception he received. It would have to be seen as credible...with him willing to interview about why he kept it secret and now how he as decided to be completely open and honest. JT is probably the only male singer that could pull it off and it would put to rest all the bs about how it isn't the GAY that is the issue, OR he would single-handedly CHANGE the radio landscape. This has nothing whatsoever to do with JT and his deserving of the grammy spot and inevitable radio play, it is about forcing either the truth or change in radio-land. Nor, of course, does it have anything to do with Justin's sexuality...but I do think he is the only current celebrity with the cred and possibly the guts to carry something like that off. Not that he will or would....but it would be really great to see.... Because it is not enough to claim to have had a crush on a man or even an affair....there has to be clear evidence of sexual activity...open...not suggested in song lyrics or with a wink... just a random thought... Except that JT is married to Jessica Biel. |
