I would bet that Forbes does not include private gigs, such as Amway. I don't know how they could? Guess? I would guess they take a gig like that and use Adam's listed rate for private appearances? I also understand from what I read that they may also TRY to contact people on the artist's team to dig for info. |

Thank you belle!  YW! My reply was actually for josyloosbr if she wants to find it - and more from the same occasion.  For you regarding the source, I could say that it is a pro pic. There is certainly some extra info in atop recap and in atop pic thread but it might hard to figure out who originally took the pic. It was published on a vietnamese news site and on the site there might, or might not, be a mention of the origin - but with the ortography issue on top of all that it might be difficult. I don't know what is proper way with pics. At least it is not someone's personal pic originally, so in a way more public... I'm actually a photographer myself and posting pics from other photographers on websites without their permission is most of the time illegal. I am only into german copyrights and don't know if the american law sees this the same way, but everytime you take a picture from an internet source and copy and paste it to another website you can be fined for doing so. According to the general terms and conditions of the photographer that took the picture some allow you to use their pics without restrictions, some want you to name them as the source and some put copyright signs on their pics to prevent you from publishing their pics as yours. And some prohibit the usage of their pics at all. In Germany it is allowed to take a pic and edit it to the point where the result stands out as its own piece of art -that's what I do most of the time. When you look at the web almost noone cares about the copyright of pics and normally, especially in a fandom, I don't think that anyone will be fined for posting pics, without searching for the source of the pic and the general terms and conditions of the photographer. But I'm working for a company which used a pic without permisson and was adjugded to a penalty of a few thousand Euros. : Sorry for waffling, but this is a topic with which I have to deal a lot  |

Teddy, he has one song out now in 4 years, and now he gets to perform at the Grammy's??? I feel there are a lot of people who haven't performed who should, but don't get invited. I just feel there should be some equitability and not the same peeps all the time. Also JT has performed many times before. My sense of equtability and justice. Has nothing to do with his worthiness. Just find it interesting, he puts one song out and bam grammy performance. |

Well actually if Xena and juneau want to proceed in concert with Fiasco or Fault (whichever), they have every right to. They may get sued by the origintor of the idea, but it is up to them to make the decision. We have a lot of power...we simply do not buy. Exactly - as a fan of Adam, I choose to never buy anything those people put out. To each his own. B-| |
