So... You can hear Sam's vocals perfectly in here. Adam's, not so much. How strange! You could hear Adam way better in the other videos (particularly the high notes). Aleks, I love your post.

Any respectable Glambert has a pretty long and detailed mental list of their wishes and dreams and hopes of all the glorious moments that should happen to Adam, deservedly so. We have all been holding our breaths in the anticipation of the special point in time when the whole world is going to join in our devotion and adoration. It is so damn sweet and lovable, and normal, too. It would be just, for sure. Meanwhile… in his life… certain things of slightly different nature are happening. Are those signs? Evidence of the existence of some higher power? Proof that he is special? That Universe is watching after him? This stream of thinking is not something I am comfortable with, as a hard core skeptic, but I honestly do not know how else to explain it. Even Eber seems to be aware of it, treating us with childhood memories of his first born jumping in his bed in pajamas, singing Le Freak to imaginary audience. I would give more than a penny for his thoughts at that moment; but I would give so much more to know how he felt when Adam told him he was going to share the stage with Nile and Chic. Years later, already in the official music business with labels and producers and other moguls and all that serious jazz, that very kid was sitting in a studio with a good friend of his by the name of Sam. No suits there, just two friends having fun and making music. Is it safe to presume that they were having fun? When you hear the song and when you think who wrote it, let’s just say that it is. The whole subtext and context and whatever-effing text of Shady screams some fun, sexy times. And, just like two kids making super special space mega blaster destroyer ( or whatever; I am a girl, so boys, do not take offense, please:) from scrap and missing one final part to perfect it, they reached out for that missing part. Like all Toms and Hucks of this world would do, naturally. They reached for Nile. As it happens, miraculously so, Nile turned out to be the sweetest guy, open and perceptive to Adam’s special mojo. He was in. Was it because this happened in the moment of his life when, faced with our mortal coil, we tend to discard all the irrelevant but without exception very loud BS and focus? Or was he like that always, a down to earth legend, who showed no restraint in embracing Adam as an artist? Apparently, it takes a complex-free, legend-caliber artist to stand by Adam. Brian Roger Elton Nile Cyndi ( I swear,my heart swells with pride as I type) No full stop at the end of that line is not a typo. It is a prophetic, intentional omission:) Adam’s orbit seems to be very selective, smartly sucking into its field of gravity the like souls, the like minds. The New York City concert seems to be getting some buzz. I do not know if it is going to be the same level of buzz that David’s naked ass got, but it is there. Glamberts can store it in their brimming Adam files; the rest of the world can make what they want from it. But, it is not just any file. It is one of those rare life’s wonders, off and away in a blink of an eye, that if you do not reach out your hand to catch it, it is gone, buried in the oversaturated data bases of our minds. You have to leave that matrix-like chamber and move to the one of your childhood, late summer afternoon dreams, when you have to lay lower on your bed to see all the dust motes dancing towards you, caught in the dim yellow beams of sun. Assume the right position to see the dance. Anyway, enough of that. What to say about the concert? The tightness, precision, undeniable craftsmanship of the band? Exhilaration! Adam’s full, layered, rich, powerful voice? Pride and joy! Friendship, respect, playfulness on that stage? Admiration! Shady in the first ever performance by its creators? Freak out! Nile and Chic playing Adam’s songs? Wonderment! Adam’s smile and happiness? Love<333
PS/ These are my impressions after having watched wonderful videos by Virg. Thank you so much!
After examining the pics, the number one impression would look something like this:
ODE TO GB
I Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You.
Huge apologies to Adam's glorious eyes, beautiful features, amazing smile and all around splendid physique!
OMG How you can write...LOve your musings on Adam...lyrical ,poetic
