Love your post Aleks!
After watching the vids and seeing pics from the WAFF event last night, I am left wondering how many times Adam has had to pinch himself over these last 4 years. It must be unreal for him to be embraced by these legends, and something he could never have dreamed for himself. The future holds great things, and those positive thoughts sent out to the Universe before Idol have set him on a path. I'm glad the path is not one that saw him burn so bright and hot that he shone only briefly, but one that is gathering brilliance a little at a time.
When he spoke in that recent interview about his contentment in knowing he could do this thing he loves for the rest of his life, I knew he would be ok.
Brilliance attracts brilliance, I've no doubt in that.

Oooooooo, look what just showed up on my twitter feed! Roll it out, Adam!! t.co/b1kEUTT2 , just so you know, someone mentioned today that you can copy and paste the picture super easily on this board ( thank you for the trick). So what you need to do are Move the cursor over the picture > right click > Copy Image > go back to this board > right click > Paste and voila. Give it a try. |

Kay, so true, Sam worked on both Voodoo and Shady, and both belong among the best Adam's songs! And yes to him doing some high profile collaborations!

Yes, automatic features make it easier to just copy paste.
Downside: the less and less sources and links.
Leaving sources out is IMO a bad thing (even if we ignore
users who often cannot see the copied material).

Totally enjoyed reading today's thread and watching the vids of the Epicness of The Trifecta... So many people to thank and fantastic posts (lookin' at you, Aleks, Cassie, and Bridgey..  ) To all who brought us the show..  What I am still spell-bound about in an ecstatic way is that Adam let his body BE the music...oh, I wanted to see that loose, slinky, potent and faster than a bullet man move across the stage, singing as only he can. It was something to behold. There's nothing I love better than to see someone who becomes one with each beat of the music. He was breathtaking. Adam has presence even when he is still, absorbed in a ballad. But he just let his body move with abandon last night. Whoever mentioned the club kid dancing, wow, I hear you! Adam can't help it..he does own a stage. The more I watched the vids, I began watching the other members of the ensemble and they were so grooving to this man who is beyond mortal, I swear. Such joy on that stage.. Nile, Sam, Adam, the band and backup vocalists..first rate! Bummed the mics weren't working for Let's Dance, but on with the show. If anyone should receive a Unity award, Adam should..and did. Happy for all who went!  |
