I am here, vivlite, thanks for asking! Been doing taxes all morning and my charitable contributions to Adam's charities sure helped a bit!! Did not realize I had donated to Charity Water 5 times! LOL!! By Adam's tweets this morning, I am guessing he is on an American Airline flight that lands in LA at 5:05 Temperature 71! I imagine he will be happy! ETA: Well, he just tweeted again, so maybe the earlier tweets were him waking up and these tweets are from the airport? LUCKY YOU ...Out of country get no tax breaks .... But that does not seem to stop me! haha All donations are for such good causes eh!!!

Finally, just cannot help but wonder that we did not hear at all from any of the non-Glambert participants at this event. I would think that there were people there who knew very little about Adam and certainly heard him for the first time. I guess, folks who throw around 10K at an fundraising auction are not the same crowd that's hanging on twitter. But I would have loved to hear some reactions from people in the audience other than the Adam crowd. For those who did attend, was this a two group atmosphere, i.e. the foundation people and the Glamberts. Was there any chance for exchange between the groups participating at this event? I was in the upper balcony (concert only tickets) and it seemed to me that everyone there was of a glambert persuasion... The tables on the main floor seemed to be mostly people who were there FOR or RELATED to the Gala cause, with perhaps very few glamberts. There were tables in the lower balcony level that I could not see - I am sure there were more glamberts there... I have to say that during various speeches Adam, or 'Lambert table" were mentioned multiple times. I was surprised by that, but definitely Adam was treated as a celebrity and a honoree. Nile LOVES Adam. It was obvious all throughout the event. Adam had someone who looked like a body guard hanging around him, I think his manager was there (grey haired guy), every time Adam left or entered the room he had several people escorting him (like two walking in front and two behind him)... There were many calls to the glamberts for bidding during the auction. Honestly - it was a bit disturbing to me, especially Montel Williams' effort. I felt that when bidding goes in thousand dollar increments it is kinda weird to be calling out to the balcony....(I might be too sensitive here...)..I would also like to know if the Birthday donation amount was announced earlier in the proceedings. There was no mention of it while we were there, and I thought that announcing $45K (or was it 41 at the time) would've been a nice acknowledgement of adam's and our efforts. But this was my only "off" moment - EVERYTHING WAS MORE THAN AWESOME! In the end - this was a great cause and we, the glamberts, contributed! I am in total AWE of the teens that were presenting - amazing young people!!!! Once the concert started people were into the performance, - disclosure: I glanced at the floor audience very briefly as I was mostly glued to my binocs focused on Adam. We need to hear from our folks who were in that crowd to comment on the interaction or any reactions. One thing I noticed was that there were fewer cameras taking pics and recording than at a "usual" concert, and people were dancing and enjoying the music.

And noooo of course I would not try to compare Nile and Tommy ... they are at very different stages in life and not comparable in any way ... the only connection is Adam and they have tweeted a couple of times as far as I know ... MY POV is only My POV! But my fantasy goes rampant ... trying to imagine Tommy to play these songs live in the future etc .... I think Adam will be happy with that ... even with having experienced working with Nile et al just these days ...

Tommybert post: I've been watching all the goodness of the last days and the "band controversy" ... something noone ever mentioned (I guess because being a "Tommybert" is not fashionable) is, that Tommy "werkes" a guitar much more sexy than Nile ... (on bass they even gave it a name: www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=bassfap&defid=5132181) Nile is veeeeeerrrry good and he is acessible online and likes to show some parts of himself. OK, Tommy is the opposite, he pretends to show all, but we can never be sure (during concerts he prefers to show a stoneface, on the interent he is more elusive than most), I think/hope he is playing a game all along ... OK that is my own little mystery to solve ... This Tommybert here will keep hunting for evidence ;-) I'm with you on the Tommyberting QueeenAl. As much as I loved Nile and Adam performing together on Thursday and I think Nile and his band were amazing, I still missed Tommy and Adam's band. I think Adam and his band are wonderful togerher and they understand each other perfectly. And I really missed sone moments between Adam and Tommy (or Ashley or Brian) I'd seen during their performances before. One more thing - watching Adam performing on stage, it dawned on me how much I'd missed seeing him performing live! God, he was fabulous! His voice, his moves, interaction with Sam, Nile and the audience - it was such a joy to watch! I really hope Adam will never stop performing. He is the best singer and entertainer I've ever seen and I look forward to every one of his performances. Sorry, but I was always thinking that Tommy has amputated stage personality or something. He is the most nonexistent and artificial person on stage I've have ever seen. Against Adam, Ashley, Brian, girls on stage with him it's even worse. Maybe live he is something more, but on videos I don't see that. And yes I know, this is Adam's band et cetera and no, I don't want him to fire Tommy but IMHO Tommy is just boring on stage. It was even more clear for me after Brian May or Nile. Now you can start throwing tomatoes at me.

Brothers pic is this becoming Adam's signature "face" in posed pictures? It cracks me up honestly.

I still love the guy anyway .... additionally on twitter and facebook and tmblr (?) he keeps trying to connect but has haters after his ass all over ... the way he doesn't give up keeps me interested .... plus the very odd mixture of his musical taste and what kind of movies he likes..... verrrrry odd .... one of these day I will figure out this guy ... I think.
