Finally I get to comment on the WAFF stuff. I was without power for a couple days because of big wind storms we had. I just caught up on the recent threads. First, thanks to all the people who streamed and video'd the event. I hope everyone who attended had a fabulous time. Haven't seen any recaps yet. Did I miss something or are you all holding out on us? Second, I think I lost my breath when Adam sang his first notes on "Let's Dance." Poor Sam's mic feed was not working right, but the tone quality of Adam's voice was SOOOO beautiful and pure. I don't think he's used that relaxed tone since all the acoustic radio performances last year. Last, I like Sam's voice. It's an interesting comparison with Adam. Sam's is what I'd call "reedy" (meaning comparable to the reed instruments like basson and oboe). He's a very good singer. Adam's is pure velvet or pulled taffy. And how good did that band sound. The drummer--WOW. Loved the horns in all the songs. Tonight I'm playing a gig with a disco cover band--there are lots of orchestral sounds in disco. And, yes, there is a medley of Chic songs. How appropriate. HA!

Adam changed his twitter and Instagram AVi (supposedly same photo) but it's not showing up for me on his twitter page. Even after numerous refreshing. I can see it on the bottom of the board, though. Adam Lambert spoke out about Beyonce-gate. http://aol.it/XubpVx
Adam Lambert speaks out on Beyonce-gate! The "American Idol" runner-up believes Queen B was justified in lip syncing the National Anthem during the Inauguration last week and summed up his opinion in two words: "Who cares?" [Hollywood Life]

Hi all! Logging in for the first time since the board changed--not sure how this will turn out! Anyway, just wanted to thank everyone for the amazing WAFF vids. I have to say, I could watch that Shady performance all day! Also, Nile Rodgers is amazing and it would be incredible to have him produce at least a song or two on Adam's next album. I mean, this is the guy who produced Madonna's Like a Virgin album, in addition to all the other stuff. The man is a musical genius!
Also, I was out of town last week and on a mini vacation in San Diego! My first time there, and I was there for Adam's birthday, which was kind of fun. Seriously, I don't know how people move away from California once they've lived there. Even when it's only 50 degrees, the sun is warm. I love it there! Now, if only I could find a way to move there...!
Hope everyone is staying warm. Hugs to you all!
